New York Times: Trump Removes Anthony Scaramucci From Communications Director Role

WASHINGTON — President Trump has decided to remove Anthony Scaramucci from his position as communications director, three people close to the decision said Monday, relieving him just days after Mr. Scaramucci unloaded a crude verbal tirade against other senior members of the president’s senior staff.

Mr. Scaramucci’s abrupt removal came just 10 days after the wealthy New York financier was brought on to the West Wing staff, a move that convulsed an already chaotic White House and led to the departures of Sean Spicer, the former press secretary, and Reince Priebus, the president’s first chief of staff.

The decision to remove Mr. Scaramucci, who had boasted about reporting directly to the president not the chief of staff, John F. Kelly, came at Mr. Kelly’s request, the people said. Mr. Kelly made clear to members of the White House staff at a meeting Monday morning that he is in charge.

Update: Trump ousts Scaramucci as communications director (Politico)

WNU editor: After last weeks tirade I gave him a few months. But what probably sped-up everything was the new appointment of Chief of Staff John F. Kelly .... it looks like this was one of his conditions for the job.

  1. That was quick. Looks like Kelly didn't take a liking to the Mooch monster.

  2. His job was to shake everything up .... and he did. But it is obvious that John F. Kelly wants to change the culture of the White House .... and President Trump respects John F. Kelly and his service far more than he did the Mooch. I expect more changes.

  3. One incompetent boob, Pres. Trump, hires another incompetent boob, then fires said incompetent boob, because he wasn't cleared yet. it's almost as if they have no idea what they are doing.

    1. Hair Twitler's a sperm lottery winner,

      He inherited a small fortune,

And in his 40 years of "business practices" made it into a smaller fortune.

As for Kelly, all you need to know about his morals and character, is he took the job working for Adolph Twitler.

The subordinate in the military recommends action.

Kelley has played this role several times.

Kelley will hand completed staff work to Trump, make recommendations and thus shape events.

Like I said a few days back, Kelly is in the catbird seat.

He is where he wants to be.

  6. Washington (CNN)New White House chief of staff John Kelly was so upset with how President Donald Trump handled the firing of FBI Director James Comey that Kelly called Comey afterward and said he was considering resigning, according to two sources familiar with a conversation between Kelly and Comey.

Both sources cautioned that it was unclear how serious Kelly, then the secretary of homeland security, was about resigning himself.

“John was angry and hurt by what he saw and the way (Comey) was treated,” one of the sources said.

It's not really a leak, when the bucket has no bottom.

  7. Comey does not deserve good treatment and neither does Mueller.

For the most part Mueller has hired Hillary lawyers.

    1. "What this means is that, very soon, Trump will fail at something. When this happens, his delicate psyche will have a desperate need for someone to blame who is not named Donald Trump. Trump reportedly blamed Kelly's predecessor for the failure of Obamacare repeal, as if Reince Priebus was responsible for the obvious moral bankruptcy of every GOP health care proposal, and as if Trump's inability to weigh in on the legislation and unwillingness even to cheerlead it more than half-heartedly was Priebus's fault.

This is going to happen to Kelly soon. He's going to be the scapegoat for a failure in the very near future, because someone has to be. I give his honeymoon six weeks -- tops."

both have done admirable work for our nation
one hires good lawyers, and often those lawyers work even for people you do not identify with or care for. My lawyer handed real estate deals for mob figures, but also took care of my divorce and real estate things.

  9. "obvious moral bankruptcy of every GOP health care "

    Obamacare was a lie.

It was a bait and switch.

The people, who did it, have obvious moral bankruptcy.

The whole point was to have single payer.

    1. LMFAO,

The Heritage Foundation created what became the core of the ACA for Nixon, which was subsequently used by the Republican Party, for the next 40 years, as a counter proposal to kill off Single Payer and Medicade expansions proposed by the Democrats.

Obama thought that if he used the Republican's own proposal, and added Medicade expansion too it, along with the Subsidies, he could get Bipartisan support for the program.

It worked out about as well as his "Team of Equals".

Adolph Twitler's gonna defund the ACA, let the Insurance Markets icollapse, kill 2 million jobs, and strip Health Care from 60 million Americans.

You ain't never getting Single Payer.

  10. Health care is probably the top issue for most Americans .... certainly those who are over 50 and who see the day when they will need to use it sooner rather than later. It has been 7 years since ACA was passed into law, and every American that I know who has been buying insurance for their coverage are in shock that their premiums have exploded since the introduction of ACA. This was not the promise that President Obama made in 2010 .... and I would say this issue has killed Democrats in subsequent elections. ACA was also implemented to help Medicaid .... but this is also not working as many had hoped for .... and for those states who are dependent on it are going to be creating a stink if it disappears. If the exchanges collapse .... which has also been predicted for a long time .... those who must buy insurance are also going to be beyond furious .... and I can only imagine how they are going to vote in the future.

For those who do not buy insurance because their employer is responsible for it .... like my sister-in-law .... I can understand why they are very happy with the current system. But this is going to be temporary .... if I was an employer I would not be happy with the rates that I must pay (let alone being responsible for an employees health care) .... and I would definitely push for single payer.

Bottom line. It is easy to blame President Trump for this disaster .... and many are .... but we should not forget that 7 years ago President Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid said that America was on the right path with ACA, and that they will be proven right. Well .... it has not quite work out that way, and people should not forget what they promised.

As to what is my preference .... I live in Quebec where we have universal health care. If I break my wrist I rush to a hospital, get my x-rays and a cast, treatment and care after. No bill in the mail. My brother's best friend broke his arm in San Jose 10 years ago .... same thing .... but a $22,000 bill (he had no insurance). Where Quebec's system fails is elsewhere .... over-crowded emergency rooms, long waits, longer waits for many surgeries, and for serious diseases like cancer .... not the place to be treated. I needed to be treated 12 years ago .... could not get it here, had to go to Mount Sinai in New York City. It was expensive ... and let us not kid ourselves, healthcare is expensive .... but being (and staying) healthy is priceless in my book.

For those who are interested .... Russia has universal health care .... but many (myself included when I am there) prefer paying insurance for our health coverage (because it is better). It is also not as expensive when compared to the U.S..

    2. The ACA's more popular than Cheeto Benito,

      http://www.kff.org/health-reform/poll-finding/kaiser-health-tracking-poll-june-2017-aca-replacement-plan-and-medicaid/

The key to the rising ACA costs, is the Rethug's 7 year program of Repeal and Replace,

After Hair Twitler's threats to defund Obamacare, in the aftermath of the Rethug's Repeal fail, and the 18page, written at lunch, Replace,

      Ohio Market's raised their rate's 30%,

Now Ohioan's are writing death threats to Republicans.

Sadly, the ACA is going to be the "best" health care the US ever see's.

Most Rethug's just want their fellow 'Murkin's, other than the Billionaires, to just drop dead, quietly.

  11. If ACA was that popular .... President Clinton is the one who would be in the White House right now.

Threatening to kill lawmakers is also a federal crime.

The Republicans have no fingerprints on the ACA. Their efforts never got past the voting stage.

But keep telling the big lie like Goebbels.
