WNU Editor: The Chinese Party Congress starts next month on October 18. I have been told that China has already told North Korea that any missile or nuclear test conducted during the Party Congress will result in serious blow-back from the Beijing government. It will be interesting to see if North Korea's Kim Jung-Un complies (I am betting that he will).

  1. Of course he will, it's all show. His tests during the congress are supposed to show the world that china has no influence over the mad man and is so so innocent in all of this. (And yes, they will keep their hard line towards the US, namely that war on the Korean peninsular is forbidden no matter what Kim Jong Un does). Don't confuse this congress and its external messaging with actual actions and the strategy the Chinese are going for. The actions remain the same, alignment with north Korea remains the same. .just in terms of selling it to the world it will be a bit nicer. "We so innocent..look we even get embarrassed by him. ."
If you keep falling for it, I overestimated you ;)
