President Trump's Reactions To Today's Mueller Commision Indictments

PBS: Trump responds to Manafort indictment, says Democrats should be focus of Russia probe

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump said alleged misdeeds by ex-campaign chairman Paul Manafort were “years ago,” and asserted there was “NO COLLUSION!” between his campaign and the Russian government.

Responding to news that two former senior campaign aides were charged by special counsel Robert Mueller, the president asked on Twitter why “Crooked Hillary & Dems” aren’t the focus of the probe. His Twitter response marked the first official comment by the White House on the news that Manafort and Rick Gates turned themselves into federal authorities in the first arrests in Mueller’s probe into Russian involvement in the 2016 election.

The indictment against Manafort and Gates alleges criminal activity through “at least 2016.”

Over the weekend, Trump took to Twitter to allege that the “facts are pouring out” about links to Russia by his former presidential opponent, Hillary Clinton.

“DO SOMETHING!” Trump urged in one of five morning tweets.

  2. The "fun" part is that from the inditements, and the White House reactions,

    - Papadoupolus "rolled" over right after his July arrest and has been cooperating,

    - Manifort and Gate's arn't cooperating, and the whole book is being thrown at them, effectively life sentences and being wiped out financially,

    - the White House effectively throwing everbody under the bus,

    - Page and Sessions are probably next on the list.

  3. Jay that is only surprising if you don't pay attention to the legal system and who's on trial. That young guy has no clue, is an idiot and far removed from trump...appears in one pic - guilt by association on cnn.

The other guys, especially Manafort, are heavy hitters, experienced guys, who have serious money and can afford good council. We all know that half of the 12 charges (they always go for twelve lol) will be dropped and the prosecutor goes in heavy on this in their desperate hope he (Manafort) will be oh so scared and want to make a deal and squeek like a rat anything he knows about Trump, Russia etc.

This to me showed me that the Mueller team has nothing on Trump. After one year the give us Manafort, a guy who was known all over Washington for his dealings with Russia and weird business / consulting deals. Wow. One year and millions (!!) spent on this and keeping the entire nation pausing and arguing. Over Manafort.

    You got to be joking.

  4. I wish Jay could spell the word indictments.

I know that is a little like the pot calling the pot black as my own spelling and grammar of late has been slipping. Still I have to wonder about his state.

One commentary (not from a national host, but from a Russian speaker.) I heard was that Manafort's indictment might be thrown out, if the search warrant was based off of wiretapping by the NSA or someone similar (also depending on the judge).

I remember that Jay was always against Nuland and yet Manafort advised Yanukovych. Jay must be awfully 'concernicated' & 'confusticated'.

Papadoupolus is nobody. Jay can wish all he wants. WNU covered this on another post.
