Speculation Is Increasing On Who Will Be Arrested In The Russian Probe Investigation

AFP: Speculation rife as first arrest in US Russia probe said near

Official Washington was abuzz this weekend over reports that a grand jury has charged at least one person stemming from the US probe of Russia's attempts to tilt the 2016 presidential elections in Donald Trump's favor.

There was no indication, in reporting by CNN that other media later confirmed, of who might be charged or what crimes might be alleged in the ongoing inquiry led by former FBI chief Robert Mueller.

But Trump, in a rapid burst of tweets Sunday, again denounced the investigation as a "witch hunt" and repeated his denials of any collusion with Russia.

WNU Editor: It appears that the Mueller Commission is focused on former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort .... These 13 Wire Transfers Are A Focus Of The FBI Probe Into Paul Manafort (Buzz Feed). Some are even speculating that it may involved President Trump .... Robert Mueller Has the Authority to Name Donald Trump an Unindicted Co-Conspirator (Slate). There is also pressure building on the Mueller Commission to investigate the Hillary Clinton campaign  after last week's revelation that the Clinton campaign and the DNC financed former MI-6 officer Christopher Steele's use of Russian sources in producing his now famous "Trump-Russian" collusion dossier .... Frustrated with the Russia investigation, Trump demands Democrats and Hillary Clinton face more scrutiny (Washington Post). This does not even include calls for Robert Mueller to resign because he suppressed the results on an FBI investigation into the Uranium deal .... WSJ editorial board calls for Mueller's resignation and accuses Clinton and DNC of collusion (Business Insider) .... which I am sure that he and his colleagues do not like to be hearing. As to what is my take .... there are many things about the Robert Mueller Special Counsel that I find disturbing. Case in point. No attempt to question Wikileaks founder Jullian Assange from Wikileaks who started this entire scandal in the first place when he published the DNC's emails that revealed how the party colluded to stop Bernie Sanders from winning the nomination. Zero willingness to answer how Robert Mueller's close personal and professional relationship with former FBI Director Comey will not impact his investigation .... especially since former FBI Director Comey is central to this Counsel's collusion mandate. Then there is Uranium One deal and Robert Mueller's role in that investigation. Again .... many questions .... no answers.

  2. Trump as been involved in do many shady financial deals, which include a lot of Russian money from criminals/ oligarchs connected to Putin, take your pick what he is on the hook for. He surrounds himself with questionable people, with even more questionable Russian ties. They are all themselves on the hook. This is what greed and incompetance produces. The rest is simply smoke blown in front of the mirror.

  3. One major part of your report left out was that the wire transfer took place doing 2012 and 2013, you make it look like it took place not to long ago.

  5. Anon,
Did President Trump receive funds from Russia .... I have speculated before in past commentaries on some of his development projects in New York City receiving loans from Russia .... but no evidence has so far been provided that President Trump committed any breach of the law by doing so. But we do know that former President Trump receive a $500,000 speaking fee to talk for one hour in Moscow, and the Clinton Foundation received $145 million from Russian interests at the same time that the Uranium deal was made.

  6. Pre election, the entire USG was focused on Trump. If they had something we would know.

My BIG concern is that Mueller pulls a Comey.

  7. One problem the GOP has is that it pushes the Cliton/uranium deal, and the followers of Trump/GOP try to make a crimminal case of something that was done legally and with oversight, and with no loss of uranium to other nations, for which, see Clintons, Russia, and the Uranium deal and so in pushing this woeful BS, they in the gop will look dumb when all is said and done

    1. Nope,

30 years of fake Clinton scandals, millions of millions of dollars spent, all for Nothingburger and one consentsual blowjob.

Still, the GOP base "believes" and sends money, and shifts further right, further wingnut. When Faux reports on the Trump/Russia convictions, they will just turn off the TV and switch to Briebart and Alex Jones lead filled trucker speed.

The Meuller Investigation is "piggybacking" off a National Security Investigation into Russian interference in the US Elections. Meuller probably has no need to "interview" Assange, as he probably has all the emails, tapes, videos, contacts, not just on Assange, but wikileaks staff.

Assange also want's immunity, he's not gonna get it.

  9. I think today's indictment will be underwhelming in substance. Don't get me wrong, CNN will bring out all the flashy breaking news headlines, and their brain damaged viewers will eat it all up, but in terms of material weight to the nation it will be small. After all, who really cares about Manafort? Everyone knows he's shady and has done prior deals with Russia. Cnn will play their guilt by association game with Manafort and Trump and words like impeachment will fall. But in reality, after one year (!) this is really, really pathetic. If all they have is Manafort, then they don't have much at all. So of course, after CNN will get out of their Jay-style autistic screeching mode, a few days later it'll shift back to Clinton, Mueller and their Russian dealings. Manafort is just the guy they'll keep as pawn in hope to exchange for keeping the heart of the DNC,Clinton, Wassermann Schulz fiasco.. manafort is after all a staple of Washington and many republicans might be concerned by CNNs guilt-by-association special that'll run on national and international TV for the next 72hrs until their viewers drop off again (even the Jays in this world at one point have to go back to work). So yeah. ..expect more of the same. .big hype after one year of nothingness and building up this narrative. This is CNNs chance to spin it like they didn't embarrass themselves for nearly a year now. They'll jump on this opportunity ..also because all this weinstein makes the Democrats look bad, and you can't have that, given CNNs and Hollywood's connection. Let the CNN sh*tshow begin and we'll all meet back here shortly lol

It is like saying Obama bin Laden. A lot of people had that slip of the tongue.

They got away with more obstruction than that.

  12. Graft can happen in plain sight.

It is the reason why we have the term "Hidden in plain sight".

Once you can hide it that way, no evidence of wrong doing can be found.

This is a peculiar Democrat party way of ding things. Pervert the law, which is easy for perverts to do.

For example the pornoi transferred export control of tech under commerce.

Afterwards, Chinese Missile no longer exploded on the launch pad.

Remember, when you need to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, a corrupt, venal Democrat has a plan.

  13. Anthony Blunt was a spy for 2 decades before he was found out.

Politicians have some sort of dispensation about how long they can or cannot get away with things?

The Clintons got way with stuff because they have 70% to 90% air cover in the press and 50% backing in Washington. Between air cover, a decisive advantage, and what they got on the ground, the pornoi are sitting pretty.

    Slip of the tongue.
But if President Trump did get a $500,000 fee to talk for an hour in Moscow, and his businesses did get $145 million from Russian associates of President Putin .... just think what the narrative would be right now.

dump dump dump...fact no indictment..no arrest etc...so all that is out there is your claims, inuendo (an Italian suppository?), and usual snark about Dems...you will need more than that now that you drift away from the Mueller post

  17. Jay, just because Clinton isn't in prison doesn't mean she's not guilty. Look at Putin.in prison? Look at Kim Jong-Un. In prison? Clinton - much like Weinstein- has had the luxury of being backed by the whole democratic party. On top she's married to a former President. The Clintons are a dynasty after all. Common, dude. For a guy who wants to look smart (just guessing by the number - not the quality- of links you always like to toss around) you're doing a terrible job. A year ago I told you they have nothing and today you'll see (cnn will of course go into a frenzy so your type can watch for 72 hours and get the ad money flowing). But it will be underwhelming and is just a shot from the hip because Mueller - the guy investigating your phantasy - is under heavy scrutiny. So he needs to indict some one. My bet is Manafort and then a lot of guilt by association game by CNN and you eating it up
