Presidential Son-In-Law And Adviser Jared Kushner Has Had His Top-Secret Intelligence Clearance Status Downgraded

Politico: Kushner loses access to top-secret intelligence

A memo sent Friday downgraded the presidential son-in-law and adviser and other White House aides who had been working on interim clearances.

Presidential son-in-law and adviser Jared Kushner has had his security clearance downgraded — a move that will prevent him from viewing many of the sensitive documents to which he once had unfettered access.

Kushner is not alone. All White House aides working on the highest-level interim clearances — at the Top Secret/SCI-level — were informed in a memo sent Friday that their clearances would be downgraded to the Secret level, according to three people with knowledge of the situation.

WNU Editor: Apparently he is one of many who lost his top-secret intelligence clearance today. What's my take .... this review should have been done last year.

  1. So this is "the deep state's" current strategy that they have settled on. Try and deny members of POTUS'S team access to the necessary information they need to properly do their jobs.

  2. LOL B!

Yes! God forbid Jared is prevented from having the high class info to do his job.
What is his job? What are his qualifications? What experience does he possess to carry out his extremely important duties?

Full MAGA is just a day away! Don't stop believin'!

  3. I'm glad that a guy who has NO prior experience other than being born rich gets his clearance downgraded. I mean this guy just last year was supposed to fix everything from cyber to Israel and has accomplished 0! What has he done in that year? What has he accomplished? Absolutely nothing. Not one accomplishment. Despite having all the privileges of being rich (access, opportunity)... unbelievable

  4. Having the clearance means almost nothing. Unless you have a "need to know" then you dont get to see the shiny rocks, regardless of yoyr clearance.

  5. What experience did BHO have? The team members need to have the necessary clearances to do their jobs. I'd have said the same things had the previous POTUS faced such ridiculous opposition.

As for making America great, at least this is a positive message. Americans want to have a great country. Tax cuts and regulatory reforms are positive steps. There still remains much work to be done and admittedly certain areas have been an extreme disappointment.

In any event, I would expect general Kelly to fix this problem. The fact that we had to go through such nonsense is very disconcerting.

  6. Actually not having "experience" in certain areas is not always a bad thing. The people with "experience" have fouled everything up almost beyond measure!! As large organizations often do, they bring in "new blood" from outside to fix things.

  7. Poster: silly comment
first, nepotism to put in so many family members...then find out after FBI check, that they can not or should not be given clearance. Then to have Trump team ignor warnings and give them access. Sorry, lad, but having myself been cleared for top secret they should never have been allowed access for a full year! Your excuse is plain silly

  8. Fred,

In business we often have people who are family members or close associates in important positions because we can trust them. We know they have our backs and we know they are on board with what we are trying to accomplish. In principle, I don't see a problem with this.

How did the FBI determine that they could not be trusted? Based upon what information? Given the active coup against a duly elected president, I've learned to be skeptical of what they tell me. In any event, I expect general Kelly to fix the problem and grant them the proper clearances they are going to need to do their jobs. This attempt to undermine POTUS just like all of the others thus far will fail as well.
