Rasmussen Reports: More Voters Want a Special Prosecutor to Investigate FBI
As Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation wears on and former FBI Director James Comey’s book drops more inside information about the 2016 election, more voters now think a special prosecutor should be assigned to investigate the FBI.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 54% of Likely U.S. Voters believe a special prosecutor should be named to investigate whether senior FBI officials handled the investigation of Hilary Clinton and Donald Trump in a legal and unbiased fashion, up from 49% who said the same in January. Thirty percent (30%) disagree, but a sizable 16% are not sure.

WNU Editor: These poll numbers are remarkable. A few years ago the vast majority would never support an investigation of the FBI .... the FBI's reputation and respect was beyond question. Today .... with allegations of FBI bias and misconduct becoming more known, a seismic shift in public opinion has now surfaced. Here is an easy prediction .... if the Justice Department's Inspector General report on the FBI is as severe as many believe it will be, these poll numbers will only go up.
James Comey is the Howard Prescott of the FBI.
ReplyDeleteHe is an interloper, vaulted to the top.
He married into it.
Does he have integrity?
Do we assume merely, because he is a lawyer or was an attorney for the U.S. that he is upright?
If so how come this episode got good rating?

I don't think that Comey is an honorable man. He has a party ethic not a professional ethic
Sure Comey might have registered as a Republican, which means all of nothing. A person could register as anything; it is their actual beliefs system and actions that tell the tale.
ReplyDeleteFox News poll: Majority think Mueller will find Trump committed criminal or impeachable offenses
Fred,
ReplyDeleteYou did not read the article did you.
You also did not read the internals of the poll. Rush Limbaugh as an influential member of the media often reads the internals and often finds things such as oversampling of different groups. You do not know if the poll was a representative sample or not. You do not kn ow what a random sample is. Considering that you do not kn ow what a random sample is PhD, I suggest the Federal government give you a 99 point bonus on any hiring application and take away your franchise.
Obama or someone has been investigating Trump, since July 2016 or before and nothing.
Absolutely nothing.
They need to investigate the NYC FBI office for being straight up trumpland during the election..and that traitor rudy.
