Task & Purpose: ISIS Ghouls Tried To Steal Fallen Soldiers’ Bodies In Niger. They Failed
The ISIS bastards who killed four U.S. soldiers in Niger last year were thwarted in an attempt to steal at least three of their bodies, an investigation has determined.
Staff Sgt. Bryan C. Black, Staff Sgt. Jeremiah W. Johnson, Staff Sgt. Dustin M. Wright, and Sgt. La David T. Johnson fought valiantly against overwhelming enemy forces but were ultimately killed during the Oct. 4, 2017 ambush in Tongo Tongo, a military spokesman told reporters on Thursday.
“Our fallen heroes were stripped of any serviceable equipment,” Army Maj. Roger Cloutier Jr., who led U.S. Africa Command’s investigation, said during a Pentagon news conference. “Two were found in the back of an enemy vehicle and one beside it. They were driven off by French aircraft. The evidence indicates that there was an intent to take them with them.”
