RT: Trump says he ‘did not like’ meeting between North Korean leader & Russian foreign minister

US President Donald Trump said he didn't like that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un earlier this week.

The US leader was speaking to journalists following his own meeting with the North Korean senior official in the White House.

During the meeting with the Russian minister, Kim Jong-un once again reaffirmed Pyongyang’s commitment to a complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula. In turn, Lavrov said that Russia is ready to support any “concrete agreements” that might result from Korean peace talks if they would take into account interests of all relevant parties, including North Korea itself. He also passed a “personal letter” from the Russian President Vladimir Putin to the North Korean leader.

WNU Editor: President Putin had sent a letter to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un that Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov delivered yesterday .... And after yesterday's Russia - North Korea meeting, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un then complained to Russia about 'US hegemonism' .... Kim Jong-un complains to Russia over 'US hegemonism' (Guardian/AP). The timing of the visit at this very sensitive time (a visit that Russia wanted), and the negative remarks made by Kim Jong-un after the meeting .... the optics on what Russia is doing does not look good.
