When Will The Pentagon Stop Using 9/11 To Justify Their Military Strategy

Army Gen. John Nicholson. US Army

Paul Szoldra, Task & Purpose: You Can Always Tell When Generals Don’t Have A Good Answer: They Invoke 9/11

You can always tell when a general doesn’t really have a good answer to a question. He or she will attempt to scare the shit out of you by invoking 9/11.

Army Gen. John Nicholson, the most recent U.S. commander in Afghanistan to kick the can down the road for two years before it’s picked up by the next guy, just became the latest general who cited preventing another 9/11 as a reason we’re still over there after 17 years.

WNU Editor: It took the former Soviet Union 45 years before they realized that Germany no longer posed a threat .... and it was time to leave. 2. the SUnion merely imposed what it had as though that were truly building a nation...but with the wall down, and help from the West, the East Berliners looked to the West for nation building and not to Russia, a model they now rejected
