Pavel Los & Mikhail Bushuev, DW: A better life prevails over political protests for Russia's young people
Young Russians turn to social networks to get their news and tend to have conservative views, according to a study by the Centre for East European and International Studies.
After Russians voted President Vladimir Putin back into office in March, the Berlin-based Centre for East European and International Studies (ZoiS) released a report on young Russians' outlook on life and politics.
One of its core findings is that Russia's young people tend to be interested in politics and know about the aims of various political protests, but are unlikely to join rallies themselves, according to the results of a representative online survey in April of 2,000 of Russians between 16 and 35 across the country.

WNU Editor: Russia's youth want what every young person in the world wants. But politically they are reluctant to participate in protests, and to go against the state. And in regards to Putin .... he is the only leader they know, so there is a reluctance to criticize him.
