A poll shows Germany's ruling coalition continuing to lose voter support, with the far-right AfD as the main beneficiary. And one conservative politician in particular seems to have lost the trust of the electorate.

The far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party has overtaken the Social Democrats (SPD), the junior party in Germany's governing coalition, in voter popularity to become Germany's second-strongest party, behind Chancellor Angela Merkel's conservatives, according to the Deutschlandtrend poll by public broadcaster ARD.

  2. Merkel was acclaimed by the western press as the savior of the western world. Again the western press en mass is exposed as ignorant.
