U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee To Vote On Moving Brett Kavanaugh's Nomination (Live Now)

19 comments:

  1. Brett appeared yesterday as a calm and sober-minded jurist. He'll thoughtfully consider all sides and reach independent decisions based on the rule of law.

His steady and dignified temperament evinces a man without partisan grudges and will never, ever look to settle old scores. Said nobody ever.

  2. It is amazing how much oxygen this is sucking up.

But it has been said that politics is war by other means.

The Democrats will do anything to win... even things that Tojo and Hitler would not contemplate.

  5. I agree; WNU - ban all Anonymous posts! Basically this is the same as someone rioting in black scarves which hides their face. Technically illegal. Only keeping the Anon posts allows accounting of more activity to your site. This does not help society and is causing too much strain.

  6. I like them.

You can play smash mouth right back.

It is sort of like a liberal saying they can use the term rightwinger, but you cannot use the term Leftwinger.

A liberal who posts there said as much. It was delicious watching their consternation to have the same techniques thrown back in their faces.

The 1st worthless comment was at 12:09. It was intended to mess with a person.

  7. If Flake and one other Republican senator band together, they can work with Democrats to sink the Kavanaugh nomination if they don't get an FBI investigation. Sens. Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski still have not announced which way they'll vote on Kavanaugh and Murkowski reportedly said Friday afternoon that she supported Flake's request for an FBI probe.

No sense in banning anon comments since we have a few fake real names, including at least one Russian troll, who use pretend names.

  8. In the military when they charge a person with a crime they say "on or about" a certain date.

That way a criminal does not get off by have the date wrong by 24 hours, etc.

What the criminal Christine Ford says on or about 1981 give or take a few years somewhere on Maryland or Delaware or DC or maybe even Virginia ...

    It goes downhill from there.

Ford's 'on or about' would never fly in the military. She certainly could not get the Maryland state police who may have jurisdiction to investigate.

Ford is so blase that she could not ask a sing city PD to investigate her claim.

The 4 people Ford claimed were there disputed her version (lie) under oath. It did not matter to true blue Democrat drones.

Four people disputing Ford is beyond a reasonable doubt.

Ford should be in prison serving a life sentence.

  9. this is not a military thing. as for military: I had loaded rifle put to my head in war zone. I can not recall exact date nor the place but I sure as hell recall the incident.

The Republicans' 'Gold Standard' Just Called for an FBI Investigation. Will They Just Ignore It?

to call Dr Ford a criminal is disgusting. She may be lying. He may be lying. The FBI will tell us which one is. Do we simply put a liar on the Supreme Court because you call an accomplished person a criminal?

  10. K has been investigated 6 times before.

    Step
    1 Let's confirm him
2 Let's investigate 1 more time to satisfy the slavers (i.e. Democrats)
3 Whoever is lying let them go to jail, Ford or K. 4 people testified against Ford.
4 If K goes to jail Republicans suffer. If Ford goes to jail the slavers go to jail.

5 This will never be over. Ever. Until 1 part your the other is no longer around. Turn the Democrats out by voting against them and make their party of slavery defunct.

  11. Back on July 9, "America, The Jesuit Review" (the upbringing Kavanaugh repeatedly cited) published a full-throated endorsement of Kavanaugh. Yesterday, after Kavanaugh and the woman accusing him of sexual assault testified, The Jesuit Review called for Kavanaugh's nomination to be withdrawn.
---Perhaps the most revealing moment from the Kavanaugh hearings: why is he dead set against a quick FBI investigation? Kavanaugh also trotted out the nonsense Republican talking point, "the FBI doesn't reach conclusions." Uh, so? The FBI shouldn't investigate because all they do is gather facts?
---Kavanaugh's High School, Georgetown Prep, Warned Parents in 1990 of "Sexual or Violent Behavior" at Parties -- this was documented, at the time, in the Washington Post.

---A key reason why Kavanaugh is being rammed through: separate sovereigns doctrine to be reviewed by SCOTUS in October. Would remove state's ability to prosecute crimes after a presidential pardon.

  12. Judge will cooperate like, when he gave the sworn testimony. He'll say the same thing.

"---A key reason why Kavanaugh is being rammed through: separate sovereigns doctrine"
There goes Lapides goes glug , glug, glug like wino parrot gulping down all the lies.

A president can't pardon state sentences only federal ones.

"The Constitution itself contains only two restrictions: The pardon must be an offense against the United States — that is, a federal crime and not a state crime." - USA Today

There is the statue of limitations.

There is the fact he was a minor at the time.

None of that matters to Lapides. Her sure did not pay attention in high school, just ambled along, like a herd animal.

Id don not knopw if we are Sulla/Marius, Julius or Octavion, but the GOD DAMN Democrats are intent on destroying the Republic, which BTW a Democracy.

Why? Because they are too stupid top tell the difference between a Republic and a Democracy with or without a PhD.

  13. And Democrats went full tard

"If Brett Kavanaugh were a hard Trumpian nominee, you could at least spin the feckless cowardice of Senator Flake, Senator Murkowski and the rest of the part-time Republicans as revenge on Trump or, at least, a rejection of an extremist nominee.

Kavanaugh was picked by Justice Kennedy. A fairly reliable swing vote. George W. Bush is out there making phone calls for him.

Senator Graham unleashed wrath and fury on Senate Democrats, whom he normally cultivates, precisely because picking Kavanaugh was a form of outreach to the Bush wing of the party, the self-proclaimed moderates and the liberals." - DG
