As old fashioned as that statue is in this day and age of "Progressives", I find this view of it something that causes me to stop, reflect, and put myself in the shoes of some new immigrant coming to America and how they must feel when they see this "anachronism". And yes..... to tear up a bit. This is quite the photo.
