From the Democrat view point George H. W. Bush is safely dead and they can use him to bash more conservative Republicans.
They'll say the George H.W. Bush would never have done that.
I remember when Mary McGrory wrote a column about what a rotten Navy pilot George Bush was because he was shot down by anti-aircraft fire. Yes, she went there.
So if you can dig up that column of hers and read it side by side with the book Flyboys, you'll wonder WTH was she thinking. We do know. She would write anything to disparage a Republican to get a Democrat elected. Anything.
When you consider that Chichi Jima was more heavily defended than Iwo Jima and we know what Iwo was like and the fact that they were using torpedo bombers for glide bombing attacks (very predictable flight path), it is not amazing that George Bush was shot down. It is amazing that more planes were not shot down.
Nothing that Democrats stoop to nowadays is amazing considering that Mary McGrory was their political grandmother.

This might be the best place to find that awful column of hers.

Why not pay respect for a great American instead of using his death to unload your anti-Dem crap all the time
No cigar Fred.
Dems unload on others with every article and column they write. Every last one.
I read he column since it was in the local paper, which is why I do not subscribe to it anymore. Paying the local paper is like being held hostage by CNN at the airport.
You could try reading the book "Flyboys." Being an English professor, political curmudgeon, and vet one would think you would read about the wartime exploits that included a future American president.
If reading is a little hard for you, your accountant can give you some pocket money to go out and get the book on tape.
My lord. You use the same mouldy insults, over and over...time to try a different tune...do not worry about my reading, reading habits, or spending money on books. Unless, perhaps, you would like to doneate and make your world better? Go here and make a donation. Or creep back under your rock.
Is "doneate" a new word you created English major?
Is that where a person donates to a certain porn site?
"my reading, reading habits"
Angry or system degradation?
"Flyboys: A True Story of Courage"
by James Bradley
"It describes an air raid in which ten crewmen survived being shot down, with nine captured and subsequently killed and cannibalised by their captors. The tenth crewman, future US president Lieutenant George H. W. Bush, was not captured"
Of course nowadays liberal ethicists would hold the Japanese officer totally innocent of making human liver pâté ... I mean Soylent Green.
Of course the stink of George H.W. Bush did not end with him being shot down according to Demonrats.
Lapides,
It's you who should worry about your reading habits, book purchases, and reasoning ability in general.
Fred,
You know the difference between you and the readers of PJ Media?
PJ Media readers get exposed to more Jewish thought than you.
