President Trump Tells His Intelligence Chiefs To Go 'Back To School'





Daily Mail: Trump tells his intelligence chiefs 'go back to SCHOOL' and lectures them on Iran in Twitter dressing down after they said North Korea wants to keep its nuclear weapons and ISIS are NOT defeated

* President Donald Trump defended his foreign policy initiatives on Wednesday after his intelligence chiefs sharply contradicted his claims the day before
* Trump suggested his chiefs were 'extremely naive and passive'
* And he told them to 'go back to school' as he defended his foreign policy stances
* The president was particularly defensive of his relationship with North Korea but he also argued of the progress he made against ISIS
* His intelligence chiefs painted a different picture when they testified before the Senate Intelligence Committee on Tuesday
* Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats said North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un is unlikely to give up his nuclear stockpiles
* Additionally Coats said Iran appeared not to be pursuing a nuclear weapon
* And CIA director Gina Haspel warned ISIS was still dangerous
* Trump touted success after his summit last year with Kim; he's charged Iran with being a nuclear threat; and he proclaimed ISIS 'defeated' earlier this year

President Donald Trump on Wednesday suggested his intelligence chiefs should 'go back to school' and lectured their 'naive' assessments on Iran after they sharply contradicted his foreign policy claims, particularly on North Korea and ISIS.

The president's response to his chiefs testimony before the Senate a day earlier was an unprecedented Twitter dressing down of America's top intelligence officials, where he called them 'extremely passive and naive,' said they were flat out 'wrong' on Iran, and suggested 'Intelligence should go back to school!.'

  1. Trump says the intel folks need to go back to school. But Trump appointed the current head of FBI and CIA..if they were not up to the job, why did he approve of them?
