AFP: US spies elevate China rivalry to war of ideologies
In a move that could harden Washington's posture toward Beijing for years, the US intelligence community has characterized relations with China as a global ideological showdown that will not be doused by trade deals or commercial theft crackdowns.
US spy chiefs abruptly shifted their view of the superpower rivalry this week to something much deeper than a contest over markets, technology and geopolitics.
The annual Worldwide Threat Assessment released by Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats instead said China is seeking to propagate "authoritarian capitalism" to counter Western liberal democracy, in an echo of the decades-long Cold War.

WNU Editor: The U.S. intel chiefs may like to frame the rivalry between China and the U.S. as ideological, but most people do not see it that way. As to what is my take. The Chinese government is focused on business and economics, and their ultimate goal is to be the dominant economic power on earth. They are doing it through trade deals, investments, and loans, as well as a willingness to work with anyone. This rivalry is now an economic one, and one that China has been winning until President Trump started to put up tariffs last year.

ReplyDeleteSo China's only road block to world domination is a guy that most of the very well paid media wants to get rid off. Of and we see millions in ads on cnn. And on nytimes. And they pay the editors. The bosses. We know about the paid for editorials that China took out to influence the midterms and was caught red handed.
ReplyDeleteCommon. Why do we keep pretending that cnn doesn't work for china and Russia?why this false flag about Trump? To change the narrative and get rid of him.
Vote in 2020 :D 2 more years until we wake the parrots up

ReplyDeleteSecond to last sentence, spot on!! I couldn't have put it wny better myself.
The editor's last sentence is spot on as well. IMHO Putin and Xi as well as the leadership classes in both countries fear Trump and dread him. As such, they need the false flag. As for the media and Democrats, they are either bought off or are useful idiots. The same applies to team Mueller.
