Daily Mail: Putin's US nuclear hit list revealed: Russian state TV names Camp David as the top location the Kremlin would target with 'unstoppable' hypersonic nukes which can strike in just five minutes

* Vladimir Putin said Russia was ready for a new Cuban Missile-style crisis after America tore up a key Cold War-era missile treaty
* Russian TV showed American targets the Kremlin would hit in the event of war
* The Pentagon and presidential retreat at Camp David both made the list
* Several defunct sites were also included, such as Fort Ritchie in Maryland which closed in 1998 and McClelland Air Force Base, California, which shut in 2001

Russian state TV has identified American military bases which it says Moscow could strike with hypersonic missiles in the space of five minutes if nuclear war broke out between the two countries.

The Pentagon and presidential retreat near Camp David, in Maryland, topped the list along with Jim Creek, a naval communications base in Washington state.

But the Vesti Nedeli television station also identified two targets - a training center at Fort Ritchie, Maryland, and McClellan Air Force base, California - which are both defunct, having been abandoned in 1998 and 2001 respectively.

  2. Michael Feldhake, Putin is not making "stupid threats." He is making promises as to what Russia will do if the US insists on staying on the path of nuclear confrontation with Russia. The "intelligence" you're undoubtedly relying on to inform your view about Russia is about as reliable as that about Saddam Hussein's WMD in the runup to the US invasion of Iraq.

Secondly, during a press conference following his address to the Federal Assembly, Putin was asked directly if he meant targeting Washington and Brussels. he answered very precisely that Russia does not want a confrontation but is ready for it should it be forced. You would do well to look up that question and very carefully read Putin's response.

  3. Supposedly 150 Hiroshima bombs and 1.25 billion people die almost immediately. The rest to follow. Just walk nukes all the way to ABM protected Moscow. See if the ABM defenses can handle in EMI of the nuclear sort.

This from a guy that is afraid to stay married. He tries to cheat death by cavorting with a much younger mistress that he hides from poor Russians, who in their despair having little, drink themselves to death. Such a great leader.
