This ISIS Fighter Uses A Shopping Cart For His Belt Fed Machine Gun

Business Insider/Task & Purpose: An ISIS fighter in Libya turned a machine gun and a shopping cart into a new kind of fighting vehicle

We now know that you can set up a belt-fed machine gun on top of a shopping cart to make a mobile firing platform, but you probably won't be allowed to return the rig back to Target.

That knowledge comes courtesy of an ISIS fighter in Libya, who was spotted in one of the group's propaganda videos free-gunning as any smart shopper would.

Hugo Kaaman, a contributor to Jane's Terrorism & Insurgency Centre, recently tweeted a clip of the amazing find, which he told Task & Purpose came from ISIS video footage taken in Libya and released in May 2015.

He is probably dead by now. No one will miss him. I hope the shopping cart wasn't hurt though. ISIS fighters die on average within 3 weeks of joining. And that's counted over the lifespan of the entire campaign. Average survival now (today) is less than a week if you join ISIS in Syria.

Give Daesh more media cover, good thinking..

Normally I'd agree. But they are not just losing, they're fleeing and those who don't flee are dying. Everyone gets to witness what happens if you join Isis. You'll die and it won't be pretty nor glorious. And you most certainly won't go to paradise ;)

Whenever you start to normalize them, they will never go away.

That's why they seek any kind of publicity, that's why they still releases combat videos. Just recently they released a gruesome execution video.

That's why Daesh and their followers love this tweet.

Hans, point taken. I actually didn't watch the clip.. and I agree with you now that I think of it, at least partially.

The current crop are abnormal people to begin with, or they wouldn't have joined up in the first place. I imagine by now all of the former Iraqis who were imprisoned at Camp Bucca are dead now and the current crop are simply wannabees from almost everywhere and anywhere.

You might want to read this if you haven't already.

"The current crop are abnormal people to begin with, or"

Idiot does not know about the Muslim Brotherhood, its history or its reach.

Pro Tip: The Muslim Brotherhood and Communist fought it out in Kabul. The Muslims Brotherhood is still there. The communists not so much.

Yet, somehow idiot expect things to turn out differently in the future and for his beloved communism to win. What can you say other than idiot is abnormal.

"BLOWBACK: HOW ISIS WAS CREATED BY THE U.S. INVASION OF IRAQ" - Intercept

Bob has a hard time connecting dots. He has hard time dong many things most normal and logical people can do.

"ISIL originated as Jama'at al-Tawhid wal-Jihad in 1999, which pledged allegiance to al-Qaeda"

Oh right, pre-911 and pre-2003

Zarqawi was a jihadist before Gulf War I. He was influenced by the Salafis and, if you peel that away, you find the Muslim Brotherhood.

Again Before Gulf War I
"Notes indicate al-Qaeda was a formal group by August 20, 1988."

You take a pud like Bob and said schmendrik does not know or care that Bin Laden's college profs were Muslim Brotherhood or what & where the Muslim Brotherhood has preached since before the 1950s. What it preached in the 1920s.

The Muslim Brotherhood was found int he 1920s and the CIA wasn't found until about 1941 in Canada. So I do not know where Bobbie-Boo can go with that.

But Bobbie is abnormal so he will go somewhere with it.
