Indy 100: Justin Trudeau has handshake offer completely ignored by Jair Bolsonaro at G20 summit
Justin Trudeau is regarded as one of the most likeable leaders in global politics right now but he found himself in no man's land on Saturday morning at the G20.

WNU Editor: I am sure there were a lot of snubs and slights at this summit that we do not even know about.
Hahaha rugged
ReplyDeleteOn second viewing I think he was genuinely pointing out to Bolsonaro that somebody was trying to get his attention over his shoulder. Trudaeu was just being a helpful guy. Still a hilarious clip out of context though. I imagine if it didn't instantly cut away the video would've shown them speaking.

This happened to Obama more than once. But even more blatant as Obama was in a greeting line, hand extended, and getting completely ignored as the dignitaries filed by.
ReplyDeleteQuite insulting.
Playing with the big boys can be rough but who the rough ones are is questionable as the extended video was still cut short. Trudeau does not look particularly happy. Now if he had, by accident of course, knocked his water over onto Xi that would be something worth reporting.
