Round One Of Mueller Testimony Complete

Zero Hedge: Round One Of Mueller Testimony Complete

After a mostly milquetoast morning of questions that Mueller could barely answer, Rep. Jim Jordan provided perhaps the most noteworthy exchange of the morning with Mueller - zeroing in on why the special counsel's office did not charge professor Joseph Mifsud - who planted the entire 'Russian dirt' rumor with Trump aide George Papadopoulos, subsequently kicking off the entire FBI investigation.

WNU Editor: I expected a better performance from former Special Counsel Robert Mueller. His refusal to answer questions on Russian attempts to influence and meddle into U.S. elections was telling. The reason and mandate for the creation of the Special Counsel was over Russian meddling, but questions on this case will not be answered by the Counsel? I now understand why Robert Mueller has avoided the press, and especially avoiding any hearing where he must answers questions under oath. Bottom line. He is not very knowledgeable of his own report.

Update: A prosecutor cannot say that because we do not have evidence to charge someone, that person is not necessarily innocent .... Mueller says he did not exonerate Trump, U.S. policy precluded charges (Reuters). That type of thinking is reserved for kangaroo courts like in China or in the former Soviet Union where the accused must prove their innocence if they are charged, not the prosecutor proving that they are guilty.

  1. This is good and bad; Bad for Dems trying to propagate a losing story and Good for the US. Once the IG report comes out the flood gates will open.

Ok, now that that's off my chest, I assume a do nothing from Washington will prevail. Ugh

  2. your bias showing. Mueller noted that he would not answer those questions that dealt with subject, materials still under investigation. He did though make it clear that what his report says and what Barr says in the Barr "report" are hardly the same

    1. Still having trouble with facts are we? Bart did not make a report, using "'s doesn't make something a "fact". Barr cowrote with Mueller of Mueller's "report", of which Mueller made no criticism until later.
I will say you and Mueller have the conditions of dazed and confused in common.

  3. From what I have read of Mueller's past legal work, his career appears to resemble the final flag at a Nascar race; checkered.

  4. Fred, correct me if I'm mistaken but I thought this costly endeavor was finished and what the country is now experiencing is the inability of the other side of the isle to accept the outcome.

  5. Lawyer Who Represented the Aide Who Destroyed Hillary Clinton's Cell Phones Sits With Mueller

So you can destroy government property to hinder an investigation and you do not go to jail. You are not even prosecuted.

    Let me guess

    You must be a Democrat'

  6. "He asked about the Mueller team members who attended Hillary Clinton's campaign parties, represented her and her staff in court, and contributed heavily to her campaign."

Democrats are dirty, criminal, lawbreaking bunch of thieves.

Cooper played a key role in setting up and managing Hillary Clinton's private email server. Specifically, he bought Clinton's server, registered the clintonemail.com domain, and helped set up Hillary Clinton's mobile communications."

“Deport this asshole!” - Rashida Tlaib: Face of the Democrat Party!

    December 2015

Democrats are hypocrites through and through

Trump did not say deports AOC or Omar.

Democrats lied and said he did, but he did not.

    Typical Democrat behavior

You can take the Democrat out of the insane asylum, but can you tale the insane asylum out of the Democrat?

  11. "Last year, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) reported that to keep the rise in global temperatures below 1.5C this century, emissions of carbon dioxide would have to be cut by 45% by 2030."

So if we don't cut CO2 by 45%, but instead double it and we don't go over 1.5 degree C by 2100, will the Warmunists admit they were wrong?

  12. The Dem questions were the outline of the Russia Trump disinformation campaign.

He opened with the lie that he was hired to look into foreign interference which is a lie meant to mislead and distract. He was hired to look into Trump Russia. They never swayed even though some obvious leads to HRC.
