Time: Former Canadian Prime Minister Tweets That She Is 'Rooting' for Hurricane Dorian to Hit Trump's Mar-a-Lago
Former Canadian Prime Minister Kim Campbell is getting attention after she tweeted that she is “rooting” for Hurricane Dorian to make a “a direct hit” on President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Fla.
Campbell, Canada’s first and only female prime minster, wrote on Twitter on Wednesday: “I’m rooting for a direct hit on Mar a Lago!” in response to a tweet saying that Florida is at risk and should prepare for the hurricane approaching.
Campbell continued with another tweet on Thursday, in which she said “we will see if Mrs. Post’s design can stand up to the assault!”––referring to Marjorie Merriweather Post, the businesswoman and philanthropist who first built Mar-a-Lago in 1923 as a place to entertain her guests.

WNU Editor: She has since apologized .... Ex-Canadian PM apologizes after saying she hoped Hurricane Dorian would hit Mar-a-Lago (FOX News), but I do not think it is sincere. Her hatred for President Trump is well known (see below tweet). So why all the attention? If she was a citizen, this story would be going no where. But she is a former Canadian Prime Minister, and she currently chairs a committee that selects Canada's next supreme court justice. What she says does have an impact, and in my opinion disqualifies her from staying on such a committee.

Twitter: the diving board for all things idiotic.
Perhaps if Trump was there at the time, or else it would be a waste of a good hurricane.
Along its northern border Canada has the Artic. Along its southern border is the United States a country who absolute adores them. As such, border security can be less of a priority for Canada than it will need to be for the United States.
Along its southern border the United States has a country that isn't exactly friendly to it and it is the number 1 target that Islamic terrorists would most like to hit. Essentially we MUST have strong border security.
Mr. Trump was correct in his statements about this. For this, Ms. Campbell uses a curse word to describe him. At best, she doesn't understand America's unique situation and its unique security needs. At worst and more likely IMHO she is not a good person.
She goes on to wish for direct hit on a Trump property by a hurricane. As a lifelong resident of the Houston, TX area, I've been through multiple hurricanes and know how devastating they can be. You DO NOT wish them on ANYONE EVER.
She may simply not understand how massive these storms are. If the Trump property takes a direct hit, the surrounding area takes a direct hit. Donald Trump is a man of substantial wealth and his properties are no doubt well insured. He will not suffer loss as a result of the hurricane. On the other hand employees will be out of work and those in the area who do not have the means he has will suffer huge losses.
At best, this is a thoughtless woman. At worst she is cruel. Perhaps she is both cruel and thoughtless. In my experience, people who use the language publicly that she used lack basic decency and they lack the ability to effectively deal with complex issues.
Good post, B
Forget the hurricane; I'd rather see Kim rain down ICBM's on the place.
MAGA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Terrible post B.
The fact is that the storm is coming and it is unlikely it will not hit. In the process, it might benefit the country, the world, if Trump was there and perhaps just blown out to sea never to be seen again. I think that all she meant.
Mmmm. Obviously Mar a Lago has a population of one, who happens to be Trump. If the hurricane hits no one else would die. I'm really worried about the type of person who have entered politics through out the West. There is a nastiness that wasn't there before. One day these idiots are going to talk us into a nuclear haulocaust.
Trump signals his desire to illegally stay in office as he rages against James Comey over ‘stolen time’ – Raw Story
Some "unknown" poster appears to have forgotten Trump's disdain and downright lack of real support for the people of Puerto Rico following the devastating hurricane they suffered in the recent past.
Trump lacks the merest hint of Presidential character, is absolutely unable to demonstrate any level of human empathy and deserves every derisive comment directed his way.
If anyone is setting the world up for a nuclear holocaust it is he.
