The Iranian president has accused the US of "merciless economic terrorism." In his speech at the UN General Assembly, he also urged the regional countries to fix their own problems instead of seeking foreign help.

In his address to the United Nations General Assembly on Wednesday, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani ruled out negotiations with the US as long as economic sanctions against his country are in place.

"I would like to announce that our response to any negotiation under sanctions is negative," Rouhani said, adding that the US must lift the sanctions to pave the way for meaningful negotiations on a nuclear deal.

  1. Iran fighting the Sunni's is an experience Iran knows about. It will be awfully bloody and destructive. They know it.
Iran fighting Israel is be more destructive to Iran, possible radioactive.
Iran fighting the USA will be WWII style, no quarter given, for Iran in terms of civilian infrastructure being destroyed. No nukes but dams, bridges, power plants, ports, airports all taken out. America will suffer losses at bases in the region for sure. Likely US troops in Afghanistan and Iraq will come under sustained attack and might have to be evacuated under difficult circumstances.

If Iran takes on all the above at the same time, she faces an extinction event....lots of hate among the parties.
