Zero Hedge: Video Captures Awkward Moment Macron & Johnson Plead With Rouhani To Meet With Trump
On the sideline of the UN General Assembly in New York Tuesday evening, prior to Iranian president Hassan Rouhani's main address on Wednesday, this surprise and somewhat awkward scene unfolded:
"You need to be on the side of the swimming pool and jump at the same time," urged Boris Johnson after Macron implored Rouhani not to lose the opportunity to meet with Trump while in New York.

WNU editor: There are times when I truly wonder if our leaders know what they are doing. This is one of those times. Bottom line. Iran will not talk with President Trump. Iran's focus right now is to use military pressure and threats on U.S. allies to pressure the U.S. to drop sanctions.
Well, with Merkel's "leadership", neither Germany nor the EU will be much of a partner to the US.
ReplyDeleteIt takes a FRENCH(!) president to at least do something. What has happened to Germany under Merkel? Is she not completely caving in to Putin's demands?
Remember when he walked in on her with a dog, and the look on her face? It was embarrassing to watch how she lost control (she is scared of dogs and Putin knows, and she lost this little mind game.. just pathetic). Anyways, she also caved in on Ukraine. She caved in on Iran. She almost destroyed the EU with her immigration policies and hurt Germany a lot. And this in turn brought us angry Brits who didn't want unchecked immigration and in turn then turned into Brexit. Merkel has a lot of explaining to do. The oil deal she made with Russia, while Russia invades still eastern Europe. This lady. Failed women in politics all over. Name ONE who has stood up to the task. Just name one. Where are the successes after DECADES(!) of promoting women ahead over men for "equality"? It's just wrong and the results speak for themselves imo
Maxine Waters
Hillary Clinton
Angela Merkel
AOC
Pelosi
All of them utter failures and an embarassement to each nation
ReplyDeleteGood point. Not your A list of politicians.
