ABC News Online: Saudi Arabia's crown prince warns oil prices could spike to 'unimaginably high numbers' if Iran isn't stopped
Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman warns that oil prices could spike to "unimaginably high numbers" if the world does not come together to deter Iran, but says he prefers a political solution to a military one.
n an interview with America's 60 Minutes broadcast on Sunday, Prince Mohammed also said he agreed with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo that the September 14 attacks, which damaged the world's biggest petroleum-processing facility and knocked out more than 5 per cent of global oil supply, were an act of war by Iran.
The United States, European powers and Saudi Arabia have previously blamed the attacks on Iran, but Tehran has denied any involvement. Instead, the Iran-aligned Yemeni Houthi rebel group claimed responsibility.

WNU Editor: 20% of the world's oil supplies travels through the Persian Gul. Any disruption will mean huge price increases and shortages, and a massive hit on the global economy. For developing nations who are dependent on energy supplies to grow and develop their econopmies, this will be a disaster.

This message was meant for China. Iran will be restrained by the Chinese otherwise China's economy is wrecked along with everyone else. Will the CCP survive an economic collapse?
ReplyDeleteIf war with Iran breaks out China will implode in front of our eyes. Think of it. .they already have
ReplyDelete- lost face in the trade war and
- likely will lose hundreds of billions/year now
- a pending multi trillion lawsuit in front of the UN backed by almost all of EU too
- a contracting economy..
- faked GDP data (by up to 30%) see previous analysis here using satellite data /light analysis
- internal unrest now moving from hong Kong to mainland China
- vast numbers of skyscrapers the were abandoned long before the trade war. We are talking thousands(!) Of empty skyscrapers built during the rush and with the "if you build it they will come mentality"(ohh the Chinese lol so smart cnn tells us). On top several dozen empty ghost cities and now hundreds of empty factories. And on top of that so many buildings were built without international construction codes (think earth quakes etc) which makes it hard to get international investors or insurance
- an upcoming housing bubble they fend off for several years now by printing and pumping money into their market like crazy. .this will no longer be possible at that rate. The bubble will pop early 2020 and everyone knows
- completely unnecessarily bullied all their neighbours from Japan to India to Vietnam... All upgrading their military by buying American . Vietnam likely to form alliance with the US (!)
- had to postpone their China 2025 goals just one year after Trump took office
I have never ever witnessed a louder bitchslap than what Trump dishes out. Historic. But cnn and msnbc don't want Trump to succeed. Wow ..There are trillions (not billions, trillions!) at stake here. Either your children will be better off by a few trillion, likely up to half of current US debt, or they won't. That not more people get behind Trump is unbelievable. They buy CNNs narrative that he is a fascist, while Xi as you read this has up to a million Urdus in concentration camps. No one talls about this hypocrisy and that cnn's biggest Ad dollar intake came from China! That's why republicans think Democrats are sick. That's why Europeans think Democrats are sick. That's why the world thinks Democrats are sick! It is sick.
Trust me, MANY people behind Trump, don't believe he polls. The 2020 election will turn out to be an embarrassment for the Dems. However, it's not like the Republicans did much while in power, speaker Ryan should be ashamed!!
