Reuters: 'This means war': anger and division at school of student shot by HK police
HONG KONG (Reuters) - Before he was battling police on the front lines of Hong Kong’s democracy movement, Tony Tsang, 18, was best known to his peers as a school vice-captain, organizing events for fellow students, friends said on Wednesday.
They were speaking a day after the teenager was shot in the chest at point-blank range as he fought an officer with a metal pipe in Tsuen Wan district during some of the most violent clashes in Hong Kong since protests escalated in mid-June.
Tsang is stable in hospital where he is under arrest.

I salute all freedom fighters... but attacking a police man with a metal pipe... Jesus.. was that necessary? In the US he would have been shot 10 times, so I am not surprised that the police man in Hong Kong shot him at point blank.. he probably shouldn't have done that either and I haven't seen a video but ffs.. are these police men from Hong Kong or sent from mainland China and good, indoctrinated "patriots"?

Tim Hagel, the chief of the Thousand Oaks, California, police department, has canceled a charity event meant to honor a fallen police officer merely because Republicans were also invited to participate at the event.
Walk like a Democrat
ReplyDelete"The Helus family has already lost thousands of dollars that had already been donated to the event, because the money has been returned to donors since the chief nixed the event."
"Chief Hagel demanded that only leftists be invited to attend the event, or he would pull the department’s support. When Randall refused, the chief carried through with his threat."
Clearly, the fascist Unterscharführer Hagel is a jackwagon.
If the returned donations are put into a Go Fund Me effort that might fail. GO Fund Me has been known to screw over conservatives and others.
