North Korea Fires Two Ballistic Missiles Into The Sea Of Japan





Daily Mail: Kim Jong-Un fires 'unidentified projectile' on Thanksgiving as nuclear talks between North Korea and the US remain deadlocked

* The Thanksgiving launch was revealed by South Korea's joint chiefs this morning
* Japanese sources said two projectiles appeared to be banned ballistic missiles
* Last month Pyongyang tested what it called two 'super-large' rocket launchers

North Korea fired an 'unidentified projectile' today, apparently ramping up its weapons tests while talks with the United States remain deadlocked.

The Thanksgiving launch was revealed in a one-line announcement by South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff which gave no further details.

Japanese media quoted sources from the defence ministry in Tokyo saying that two projectiles were launched from North Korea's east coast.

The sources said that the projectiles appeared to be ballistic missiles - which Pyongyang is banned from firing under UN sanctions.
