Al-Qaida's Top Leader In Yemen Killed In U.S. Air Strike

Qasim al-Raymi

Yahoo News: U.S. killed a top al-Qaida leader in Yemen, reports say

The leader of al-Qaida’s Yemen branch is believed to have been killed in a U.S. airstrike earlier this year.

The New York Times said three current or former U.S. officials “expressed confidence” that Qasim al-Raymi, the emir of al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), was killed in Yemen, although there was no official confirmation.

U.S. forces had been tracking al-Raymi for months, and there was a $10 million price on his head.

It is unclear whether the strike was carried out by the U.S. military or the CIA. Spokespersons for U.S. Central Command, the National Security Council and the CIA declined to comment.

  1. These strikes look good on newspaper headlines, but it seems obvious that these islamist networks don't have much trouble finding replacements. Al-Qaeda is still a major jihadist network on several continents.

  2. You cannot defeat religions nor religious like beliefs. Just watch the next election in the USA.

  3. They have that good ole time religion in Venezuela where Maduro is the head primate.

Let's clear up something. Trump is delivering; There is no 'belief' necessary say if we had a Jeb.

There is new wall being built. Building a wall where only a vehicle barrier existed before is a vast improvement. The government already had the right of way established and there is less the Democrats, activists, Bobbi's and other dweebs can do to stop it.

People have gotten stuck on top of the new wall after climbing it. The new wall has vastly cut down on the % of people who can climb it.

Bobbi is doing his socialist best with trying to lie, obfuscate and demoralize. All he is really doing is making us angry and thus dedicated to getting-r-done.

Bob, the Elemer Fudd of the socialist world.

I have to agree with you on Trump accomplishing something. He is doing an excellent job of alienating the rest of the world. When it comes to delivering Trump has failed miserably on all counts you just refuse to see the truth.

Walls are nice, until the time comes that they can be used to keep people in as well as out.

  6. The pattern in the stuff you post shows a person so desperately dedicated to supporting a criminal and mentally sick President's agenda that he is unable to stand back and see truth. Someone who has been so drawn into the con that he dare not look too deeply at opposing views lest the truth become too much to bare, thus causing him to formulate poorly thought out responses that only scratch a the surface.

Although in truth it could be that he is simply one of a kind with that President and therefore a write off.

A third option of course is that he totally agrees that Trump is a criminal and mentally ill person but is a paid troll whose job is to denigrate other posters who simply strive to tell the truth about the top denigrate, the president. Lower case "p" is /s for truth.

  7. al-Raymi was responsible for the murder of 14 people at the US embassy at Sana'a, Yemen in 2008.

Now that fucker is dead and Bob is blubbering about it.

It is a good thing this is the internet and we don't see Bob wet his keyboard with his tears and his snot.

If you don't like what I post, don't read it and for sure don't provide inane comments using gutter words.

But please don't take that advice because I really enjoy commenting on your useless replies.

"Walls are nice, until the time comes that they can be used to keep people in as well as out."

You missed the meaning of "until the time comes". If you would like I can elaborate on this.
