Former New York City Mayor Bloomberg Drops Out Of Democratic Presidential Race. Senator Warren Assessing Her Campaign

Daily Mail: Mike Bloomberg QUITS 2020 race after disastrous Super Tuesday saying winning is 'impossible' after spending $1 BILLION for just 44 delegates - and immediately endorses Joe Biden, while Elizabeth Warren 'assesses her path forward'

* Mike Bloomberg and Elizabeth Warren are the dramatic losers on Super Tuesday
* Bloomberg quit at 10.11am having spent $1 billion to only win 44 delegates
* Warren came in third in her own state of Massachusetts and came in third in nearby Maine too; aides said she was 'assessing the path forward'
* Dramatic count in Texas ends with Joe Biden winning the state - securing a sensational comeback from the political dead after he joked: 'They don't call it Super Tuesday for nothing.'
* Bernie Sanders seized a victory in California in the last act of a dramatic Super Tuesday which saw Joe Biden win state after state in landslides across the nation – only for his rival to take the biggest prize of all
* Biden started Super Tuesday off strong, sweeping a swath of the south after first winning Virginia then picking up North Carolina, Alabama, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Minnesota, Arkansas, Massachusetts and Texas
* Sanders currently has four states under his belt: California, Vermont, Utah and Colorado
* Both Sanders and Biden claimed victory, and both said they will take the nomination
* The path to the nomination in Milwaukee now runs through a mini-Super Tuesday on March 10, when Missouri, Michigan, Washington and Mississippi vote

Mike Bloomberg dramatically quit the presidential race Wednesday morning after a disastrous Super Tuesday and immediately backed Joe Biden.

The billionaire gained just 44 delegates by 10.11am, the time he announced his departure - but ran up a bill of $1 billion.

He immediately and whole-heartedly backed Biden, the night's big winner, hinting that his vast fortune is now at the former vice-president's disposal.

'I've always believed that defeating Donald Trump starts with uniting behind the candidate with the best shot to do it,' he said.

WNU Editor: We learned last night that if you are Mike Bloomberg, you cannot buy the Presidency. As for Senator Warren. She should drop out, but her opposition to Senator Sanders is personal, and she is going to try her best to bleed progressive votes away from him in the next few races. But if she is to drop out now, it will be because of money. According to some reports her campaign coffers are now empty.

  1. When confronted by House lawmakers angered about President Donald Trump’s halt in aid to Ukraine last summer, Trump administration officials repeatedly said the hiatus was meant to allow them to conduct a policy review about the aid program.

But the Pentagon’s deputy general counsel — in an email kept secret by the administration during the House and Senate impeachment proceedings in December and January — told his colleagues during the aid halt there was, in fact, no such policy review under way inside the administration.

The email from Pentagon lawyer Edwin S. Castle to the Defense Department’s top spending officer is the latest revelation about how Trump withheld aid to Ukraine — an issue at the core of congressional Democrats’ efforts to impeach and remove the president from office.

  2. What an embarrassing end to a business man who could have pretended to be smart using the "eyyy I've got money I gotta be supersmart" stick.

Damn he's so stupid, naive and untalented and unprepared that I began to question the entire capitalist premise of "work hard, work smart etc".. BULLSHIT this guy never ever ever made 60+billion himself. Didn't work his way up. He found some accounting loophole and then because of vanity never stopped or held back and just kept amassing money to buy sex because he's a tiny untalented ugly disgusting man who also doesn't seem to have a good heart.... this idiot wasting a billion USD on a vanity project. What a degrading end to a man's life to be that bad in front of millions of people. I hope he gets chased out of every country club for this shameful filthy performance. Not a leader for sure

Bloomberg wrote a killer app back in the early 1980s or before. Every financial business used it.

Fortune favors the prepared. He was prepared. Nowadays, if such an app need to be created he had beaucoup competition. He was lucky, but he was also trained, ambitious and smart.

  9. Bloomberg made an app that made other people a lot of money. So they paid him for it.

I made no comment about the goodness or badness of salaried, hourly or other jobs.

If singers can become multi-millionaires many times over, why can't someone, who codes something become a millionaire?

I never said that I adored Bloomberg. My guy is Trump not Bloomberg and as I have said before I would have probably hated and/or envied Trump, if we attended the same schools.

I am voting for Trump in November.
