After The Covid-19 Pandemic, China's Relations With The World Will Not Be The Same

Keith B. Richburg, National Interest: After Coronavirus, China's Relations With the World Will Never Be the Same

Leaders of countries long friendly to China because of economic concerns—and willing to turn a blind eye to its atrocious human rights record and abuses like holding a million Muslim Uyghurs in concentration camps—are demanding Beijing be held to account.

As the novel coronavirus has spread from its original epicentre of Wuhan into a global pandemic, China’s ruling communist party is pushing a new narrative.

After some initial missteps by local officials, this narrative goes, the central government took charge and defeated the virus with tough, resolute measures. Western countries are now suffering because of their lax response and the inferiority of their cacophonous democratic systems compared with China’s one-party model. Other countries should learn from China’s success, and the Middle Kingdom is now generously sending expertise and badly needed equipment to the hardest hit places. China’s healthcare workers are heroes. And by the way, the virus may actually have originated with the US military, not in China.

It’s a message being slavishly promoted in the party-controlled state media, parroted by Chinese diplomats around the world, and perhaps even believed by a significant percentage of Chinese citizens subjected to decades of brainwashing by relentless propaganda and an education and indoctrination system that extols the virtues of party rule.

But around the world, this narrative is being met with derision and outright hostility.

WNU Editor: China's relations with the world was already changing before the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic. The pandemic has only accelerated these changes. My prediction. Supply chains will no longer be solely dependent on China. Diversification and the economic decoupling from China will start to occur, if not now, definitely in the future. China will also have a problem in its international relations. Its mishandling of the outbreak and its aggressive posture towards those who are critical of China's is only going to exacerbate tensions. This is not how you earn friends and allies.

  1. Don't want to brag, little parrot, but I called this (the collapse of Chinese industry, moving all away, the collapse of the housing market because of their bubble etc).. the same one who gave you your nick name, little parrot, the same one who bet on Trump becoming president and the same one who called the outcome of the FBI and subsequent Russia Gate.
What did you get right, little parrot? :)
Maybe time for you to wake the f up hehe

  2. When this is over and there is a Democrat in the white house in 2020 , 20024, 2028, or 2032 Democrats are going to go right back to cozying-up to Chinese Communist brass.

Business people will figure out the supply chain and 33% to 50% if not more disinvest from China.

The real threat to America is form Google, Hollywood, Academia, media, and the Democrat Party.

Why was a video in using UV light to help heal people pulled from Youtube? Simply because Trump mentioned it and Google is honcho'd by some MOTHER FUCKERS.

People get all sorts of probes stuck up their ass, down their throat into their stomach and lungs.

So if someone is intubated, some dumb liberal mother fucker is going to tell me a trained doctor cannot stick a small catheter emitting UV down that tube?

Liberals have got to be the dumbest beasts of burden in the whole world.

"Ali Watkins" The prostitute whore bitch ", turned "technology and disinformation" reporter who proudly announced that she'd "reported" medical researchers from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, one of the most prestigious medical institutions on the planet, to the YouTube site police, for their YouTube video showing how they had conducted UV light research as a means of killing off viruses within the body, something that had been brought up by President Trump a few days ago."

  3. Zinc: The Missing Element in the HCQ/COVID-19 debate

"When the COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) virus pandemic began, one of the glaring facts apparent to those who were familiar with the zinc research was that at least two of the three groups in the United States that were known for having zinc deficiencies (elderly people and Black Americans) were contracting and dying from COVID-19 at much greater proportions than the general public."

I knew African Americans have a greater genetic tendency to hypertension (a biological engineering tradeoff). But it doesn't and couldn't explain the higher rate of corona deaths. Zinc uptake might fill in-part of the blank area.

  4. At the start, China had something amazing going for it. It could copy the plans of others, duplicating them, and making the products cheaper and more efficiently. This also made China a go to spot for manufacturing operations.

China does NOT innovate well. This isn't something to be ashamed of. Countries are like people in many ways. There's things we do well and things we don't do so well!!

China had a unique position in a unique time. Unfortunately for them they've abused it. Prediction: they will make great slave labor for Russians, Japanese, and a few others. The 21st century will usher in humiliation for China like its never experienced in its history. Also, Japan and South Korea will be getting robust nuclear deterrents very soon!!
