DW: Trump, Putin hail US-Russia ties on WWII Elbe meeting anniversary
The two leaders issued a rare joint statement marking the 75th anniversary of US and Soviet forces meeting on Germany's Elbe river during World War II. They said the event showed how Russia and the US can work together.
US President Donald Trump and his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, on Saturday commemorated American and Soviet forces coming together during the final days of World War II.
When the two allies met on the Elbe River near Torgau in Germany on April 25, 1945 — with the US military advancing from the West and Soviet forces advancing from the East — it was seen as a milestone event in conflict.

WNU Editor: The joint statement was issued marking the 75th anniversary of US and Soviet forces meeting on Germany's Elbe river during World War II. Apparently what got some unnamed U.S. officials unnerved was that the statement also said that this coming together in 1945 proved that the U.S. and Russia can come together and work for a "common goal". In the middle of a pandemic that is now killing thousands of Americans and Russians per day certain unnamed US officials are more concerned that the US and Russia may work together?!?!?!?

We never have to forget that, even our differences (we have also with our NATO allied), we are all christian, all Caucasian, all having the technologies, all being only 1/7 of the world population and being under threat of the rest of the world in the next 50 years when the rest of world will be highly weaponized.

According to data from a Chinese pharmaceutical company, animal experiments with the Novel Corona virus vaccine revealed that the vaccine largely protects monkeys from infection and was first developed in a Chinese laboratory. Monkey vaccine trials were successful.
ReplyDeleteJust read Paul Pillar in the National Interest. The guy worked for the USG for 20 or 30 years. No he has a byline at the National Interest. You know before you read anything of his that he is going to be anti-Trump. Pillar has TDS. It makes the National Interest suck ass.
ReplyDelete"The National Interest (TNI) is an American bimonthly conservative international affairs magazine published by the Center for the National Interest, which is a Washington, D.C.-based public policy think tank established by former U.S. President Richard Nixon on January 20, 1994, as the Nixon Center for Peace and Freedom.[1] Nixon's handpicked executive and current president, Dimitri Simes, was named in the Mueller Report as an agent of the Russian government and has intervened in American politics on direct orders of the highest levels of the Russian government.[2] In light of this scandal, the reputation and fidelity of the publication has suffered as a magazine of record.[3] Simes continues to officially and openly serve as publisher of The National Interest."
Flynn gets charges dropped after 3 years. What does that tell you about Mueller, the FBI and the rest. Same people were after Trump. Trump is going to work with those assholes. These people, if they were ethnic Han and born with the right citizenship, would be like hogs in slop. They have the correct mindset.
PS: Not going to dig through the Dimitri Simes stuff. Mueller is not believable. I am suspicious of almost anything Russian, FBI, etc. Simes is suspicious like the Strategic Culture Foundation quoted by ZeroHedge is suspicious. Simies may be innocent. The FBI not so much.

I'll call this one too: Russia will not be buddies buddies with China if Trump gets re-elected.
ReplyDeleteChina is about to implode and most market leaders and top political leaders know it. Putin knows it. Heck, he benefits from it. Working with the USA will elevate Russia to a level of former glory. Much more income/GDP etc due to increase trade and cooperation with the USA, which is much closer culturally, religiously, ethnically and even by trade, than China. And Russia/Putin knew this all along. He gets a lot of support from the Russian Church etc.. so, no way Putin would cooperate on something like a global pandemic -- that kills scores of Russians every day -- with China, after they clearly withheld information. But Putin knew, he closed his borders so quickly, we all saw it as a sign to come
