Former U.S. Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell Unloads On The Deep State “Swamp” In Washington, D.C.

BPR: Grenell describes being an outsider in DC Swamp, eviscerates Dem leakers and their media minions

Former acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell ripped the deep state “swamp” in Washington, D.C., along with Democratic politicians who leak classified information and the Left-leaning news outlet Political in a lengthy Wednesday interview with talk radio giant Mark Levin.

The career diplomat and civil servant who recently stepped down from his post as U.S. ambassador to Germany noted that he was a “consumer of intelligence since 2001,” though Democrats criticized his temporary appointment as head of the U.S. intelligence community.

Grenell also suggested that his presence in the ODNI was unsettling to the entrenched intelligence bureaucracy.

WNU Editor: The interview begins at 12:40. It is a shame that he has not been invited on any of the main stream media outlets. This is a must listen to on how U.S. intelligence works, and their relationship with Congress.

  1. Grenell presented his credentials to the President of Germany on May 8, 2018.[36] Within hours of taking office, Grenell offended diplomats and business leaders when he tweeted that “German companies doing business in Iran should wind down operations immediately.”[37] The tweet was widely perceived as a threat, with the Foreign Minister of Luxembourg, Jean Asselborn, commenting that "This man was accredited as ambassador only yesterday. To give German businesses such orders … that’s just not how you can treat your allies.”[38] The leader of Germany's Social Democratic Party stated that Grenell "does appear to need some tutoring" in the "fine art of diplomacy", while the Die Linke party urged the Merkel government to summon Grenell to explain his comments.[38]

Grenell stirred controversy in June 2018 by telling Breitbart News, "I absolutely want to empower other conservatives throughout Europe, other leaders."[39] This comment was described[by whom?] as a breach of diplomatic protocol and a breach of Article 14 of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, which requires ambassadors to be politically neutral in the domestic politics of the countries where they serve.[1][39] Prominent German politicians called for Grenell's dismissal.[40][41][42][43] Martin Schulz, former leader of the Social Democratic Party of Germany, said, "What this man is doing is unheard of in international diplomacy. If a German ambassador were to say in Washington that he is there to boost the Democrats, he would have been kicked out immediately."[40]

  3. "German companies doing business in Iran should wind down operations immediately." - Grennell

It is not the 1st time Germany has supported the enemy. West Germany traded with North Vietnam during the Vietnam War.

Senator Stennis questioned McNamara directly about it.

PhreD do you remember that Senate hearing?

Why would it come as a shock that Grennell would say this?

How can PhreD be against Russia and thus assumedly the Nordstream pipeline and for German-Iran trade.

You would think PhreD know about the China-Russia-Iran Axis. PhreD half heartedly claims to hate Russia and Russian collusion but then has no problem with trade to an Axis partner?

Nice Wikipediq posts there PhreD. That took a lot of though to copy and paste on your part.

PhreD squeals like a stuck squirrel.

  7. What is so hard to understand?

If we (the U.S.) have any enemy, we do not want an ally (Germany) to make it stronger by trading with them.

Maybe the problem is that certain elements of society are not with us (U.S.), but instead are with the enemy, but are too timid or mendacious to affirm their position.

In other news those elements of society plan on voting candidate diaper pants, who makes the sweetest high notes using hydrogen carbide and sulfur dioxide.
