New York Times: Coronavirus Live Updates: Trump Administration Models Predict Near Doubling of Daily Death Toll by June
The Trump administration projects about 3,000 daily deaths by early June.
As President Trump presses for states to reopen their economies, his administration is privately projecting a steady rise in the number of cases and deaths from coronavirus over the next several weeks, reaching about 3,000 daily deaths on June 1, according to an internal document obtained by The New York Times, nearly double from the current level of about 1,750.
The projections, based on modeling by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and pulled together in chart form by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, forecast about 200,000 new cases each day by the end of the month, up from about 25,000 cases now.

3,000 day? If there is not, do not claim it was social distancing, because I am not seeing any.

If you understand system reliability, this all makes sense.

Even more alarmingly, she said that the hospital was refusing to give blood transfusions to patients who are low on blood unless they have internal bleeding. Without proper blood flow, she explained, the ventilators will not do anything to help them — and she said that this is a common problem for patients with the virus."

Has the all cause death rate changed from the mean? 3000/day means nothing unless you can compare it to a norm.
ReplyDeleteThere's no evidence that "social distancing" is actual working. The death toll and rate of new infections remains about the same per day over the last few weeks. "Social distancing" is an article of faith and we are not allowed to question the scientists. While there is no evidence that "social distancing" helps to slow the infection rate of COVID-19, I have seen much direct evidence that it increases the rate of mental illness as humans were not designed to "socially distance." In mental illness resulting from the government's policies will increase the death rate across all age groups. There have been studies that suggest hugging boosts both immunity and mental health. The badly flawed models cited by Fauci and Birx don't account for any of this.
