U.S. Defense Secretary Mark Esper Told Governors The Need To 'Dominate The Battle-Space' In The Nation's Cities

'We need to dominate the battle-space,' Defense Secretary Mark Esper told governors on a conference call with President Trump Monday

Daily Mail: Defense secretary tells governors to 'dominate the battle-space' in nation's cities as he and chairman of the joint chiefs of staff join Donald Trump on crisis call

* 'I agree we need to dominate the battle-space,' the Pentagon boss told governors on a call
* President Trump said they would look like 'jerks' and 'fools' if they didn't 'dominate' and gain control of the streets
* Esper says only 17,000 Guard troops have been deployed
* White House says 350,000 are available to be called up

Defense Secretary Mark Esper told the nation's governors they should use thousands of National Guard forces to 'dominate the battle-space' – on a call where the President Trump told them they would look like 'fools' otherwise.

Esper pressed governors on the call Monday morning to dramatically increase the use of National Guard troops on the streets, after the president scolded them, saying they would have to 'dominate or you'll look like a bunch of jerks.

'At my urging, I agree we need to dominate the battle-space,' Esper told the governors, who assembled on a conference call.

  1. So the movie makers can call it a battle. See "Battle in Seattle".

Leftist/Liberals can say they are fighting the power.

You can use real soldiers like the national guard.

Antifa can bring spiked clubs and other people bring rocks (A weapon. Magellan was famously killed by one), molotov cocktails, pistol, cars, and assault rifles.

Every profession has their own vocabulary from chemistry to engineering to mathematics to linguistics to yes including the military.

Yet, the faint hearted supposedly ( really bloody minded) are shocked, when they hear military terms. You would think they were like some Christian peasant that hear a witch read from Necronomicon or the Devils bible.

Battle Space has been around since at least the mid 1980s. It is at least 3 dimensional (air land & sea).

It would mean having drones up to see where Antifa, Black Bloc or other terrorists were congregating or heading to. This is important because either yyou are going to set the tempo or they are. If they set the tempo and get inside you decision loop. they will often if not always have local superiority and thus have thew ability to burn, murder and pillage as they like.

These subhuman assholes set an apartment on fire in Richmond, Virginia and then block the Richmond Fire department. There was a family with a child in the apartment.

But the military cannot talk about battle space.

  2. Chief Smith says last night protesters set fire to a few buildings, including a multi-family residence that was occupied by a child in the 300 block of West Broad Street.

300 West Broad Street Richmond, Va

Check it out on google maps. The people living there are not rich.

The arsonists, looters, and liberals either don't think or they are evil.

  4. Initiative

    That is the word.

Either you have the initiative or they do.

The side having the initiative usually gets to decide tempo and can use its advantage to continue to dominate and ultimately to win.

You can use your initiative or dominance to force battle or if battle is refused to pillage.

No different than Medieval times. No different than ancient times.

Refusing battle worked for Rome in the 2nd Punic War. With JIT manufacturing, it won't work for us.

Sometimes honestly I think WNU is working for the other side.

  6. Right editor. I don’t know, that sounds really close to, “I was just following orders.” You should know better than that. And I think you do know better than that. You know how to pull along and lead public discourse.

  7. Everything that the editor posted paints the protesters in a bad light. Everything. Well done.

    Just documenting what is happening.

    No one is protesting anymore.
We are on the verge of urban warfare.

  9. Keep up the good work WNU Ed. You're doing a great job. 2 or 3 days ago the thought occurred to me that this looked like a colour revolution & the Arab Spring. My department played close attention to the Arab Spring. We didn't buy the spontaneous protest nonsense. That was organised. Keep ducking & the best of luck to all the nice people over in the USA. Especially those who have & will lose their loved ones & businesses. Everyone is being exploited by the TV news, CNN.
