CNBC: June private payrolls rose 2.37 million and there was a big positive revision for May, ADP says

* Private payrolls rose by 2.369 million in June, a bit below the 2.5 million estimate from economists surveyed by Dow Jones, according to ADP.
* May’s number saw a stunning revision, going from an initially reported loss of 2.76 million to a gain of 3.065 million.
* Hospitality industry workers saw the biggest gain, with 961,000 hires, while small businesses overall added 937,000.

Companies in June continued to bring workers back from their pandemic furlough as the national economy slowly came back to life.

Private payrolls grew by 2.369 million for the month, a bit lower than the 2.5 million expectation from economists surveyed by Dow Jones, according to a report Wednesday from ADP and Moody’s Analytics.

The total actually represented a decline from the previous month, which saw a dramatic upward revision to 3.065 million. ADP initially said May saw a loss of 2.76 million. However, the Labor Department two days later reported a gain of 2.5 million for May, a number that itself was far better than the Wall Street estimate of an 8 million loss.

WNU Editor: The stock market posted its best quarter ever after yesterday's close. But it is still going to take a long time before the US economy is at the level that it was before this pandemic.

As Zerohedge would say the stock market is fake. It is being buoyed up by the Fed.

The CDc will not let the economy recover.

"...on the GAO’s report:

The report also criticized the C.D.C.’s counting of coronavirus tests, which combines tests for an active infection and those that detect antibodies. This practice inflates the percentage of Americans that appear to have been tested and gives an unreliable picture of the way the virus is spreading around the country, according to the new report. After the C.D.C. was criticized last month for combining the two types of tests in its reports, the agency promised to separate them. But as of June 9, it had still not resolved the issue, the office reported."

Former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. and the Democratic Party outraised President Trump and the Republicans for the second straight month in June, announcing a record haul of $141 million on Wednesday night only hours after Mr. Trump’s campaign had trumpeted his own $131 million total.

Both of the presidential candidates’ hauls represented huge spikes from May, when Mr. Biden raised $80.8 million and Mr. Trump $74 million.

The totals were impressive in different ways. For Mr. Biden, the huge sum represented a reversal after he had struggled with fund-raising for much of the primary campaign, as well as a signal that the party’s donors, big and small, have united behind him. For Mr. Trump, it showed the durability of his financial supporters, who delivered his strongest month yet despite a turbulent June and polling showing him trailing Mr. Biden badly.

The Trump campaign had celebrated its $131 million haul earlier on Wednesday evening, with Brad Parscale, the campaign manager, writing on Twitter, “Americans voting with their wallets, supporting the president.”

Then the Biden campaign announced its larger monthly fund-raising sum.

Parrot buzzing around at 11 o'clock high.

Parrot please remember than Hillary out spent Trump.

Also please remember that Trump won the election with an $80,000 ad buy placed by the Russians where some of that was after the election. That is a gospel to a gulping Democrat like you.

So Joe Biden could have a 3 trillion dollar war chest and Trump could still win with one little ad buy under 100 K.
