ReplyDeleteThe death rate in the US might be the same or lower this year than previous years. What will you do or say then?
Where are the deaths? The deaths are there among those over 65. What can I say. The analogy between build-up dead underbush causing bad wildfire seasons and lots of very sick old people in nursing homes.= dying of COVID is apt.
You don't get sent, parked, pick your verb to a nursing home, if you are not sick.
Periodic die offs are going to happen do to a build up a of weak hosts. It will happen unless Congress conquers entropy. Entropy wins. You believe this, if you have taken a thermodynamics course instead of a crap course in critical race theory.
Entropy wins unless the Democrats nominate Deathwalker for president. But remember Deathwalker can only save a few, so the notorious Deathwalker cannot defeat Entropy either.
correction "due to a build up "

ReplyDeleteMr. _______ (We all know, who you are, unfortunately for our sanity.),
ReplyDeleteIt was not a dumb comment.
The average length of stay before death was 13.7 months, while the median was five months. Fifty-three percent of nursing home residents in the study died within six months. Men died after a median stay of three months, while women died after a median stay of eight months.
University of California at San Francisco.
So when a nursing him resident dies, we have to ask if their life was cut short 3 months, 5 months, 13.7 months, or how long?
If in 2020 the nursing home median went form 5 months to 4 months I do not think it is worth crashing the country, causing suicide to rise, unemploying millions and putting their lives on hold, etc.
I am for segregating CVID patients form other nursing home patents in separate wings and absolutely have separate staff attend them for the duration of the COVID outbreak.
No more Cuomo (D) sending COVID patients into nursing homes and telling nursing homes that they cannot test them for COVID!
we have to look at hiring practices of nursing homes and see how many foreigners they hire to lessen costs. The hiring practices have affected hygiene. I have lived in the 3rd world. I know. Even the Chinese have changed their eating practices, You can no longer dip your chopsticks into the common bowls.
Makes me wonder what kind of world we have where Chinese can learn and change, but liberals do not.
I have said before and will say again that you are functionally illiterate. You don't know the Second law of thermodynamics and so have no idea what I said or did not say.
You also probably do not know the cultural references to Deathwalker, which is okay. It is niche. But the episode where that character is featured is well worth the time to watch. The germinal ideas are sound.
Further do not tell me that a disease will not generally tear through a distressed population faster than a healthy one.
