WNU Editor: Regular readers know that I am always worried about the health and safety of world leaders. Even those that I disagree with. Because I know that if a major world leader is incapacitated because of a medical emergence .... or worse .... it will have a profound geopolitical impact. This is one of those situations that I am always dreading about.

Trump did an interview with Sean Hannity earlier this evening where he indicated he was going into quarantine after his close contact with Hope Hicks. I think he knew he was positive then.
ReplyDeleteSo far asymptomatic. I believe and hope that he and the First Lady will be fine.
Never a dull moment!
Media is going to blame them for not wearing masks.
ReplyDeleteLol. A real shame, that.

ReplyDeletehow fucking stupid can you get?
Trump had mocked Biden for wearing a mask

ReplyDeleteWhat part of a respiratory virus do you not get? The viral particles are smaller than the pores in the mask.
The idea of a lockdown was sold or marketed as slowing the virus so as to not overwhelm the hospitals and so the hospitals could prepare.
The real result is that the Democrats did not let a crisis go to waste. A lockdown of more than 2 weeks strtecthed into 1/2 year and now more people will from not getting cancer screening or suicide than COVID.
You are guilty and responsible for that. You are part of that feedback loop. Democrat politicians will point to the polls and put out more scare PSAs and talk, You oblige ad tell pollsters you are scared justifying Democrat politicians to continue lockdowns. You don't fear God; you don't believe in God. But consider that time machines will be built (are built) in the future and everything you do has been recorded.
You couldn't logically think through anything in any class (Logic, philosophy, math, science..._)

ReplyDeleteAt least with regards to the costs if the lockdowns exceeding any benefits you are spot on.
Obviously we cannot "know" the outcome his health appears to be excellent and he has strong family bonds with his wife and children. These factors generally aid recovery from anything. I'd expect him and Melania to do quote well here. Obviously I will pray for him as I do all of our leaders.

ReplyDeleteB Poster,
ReplyDeletePeople laugh at orange man for being orange. I don't know how much is make up and how much is real tan. Is suspect being old he does not do tanning booths.
However, Trump has has outdoor rallies and he gets a lot of sunshine. This is important! NO, THIS IS HUGE! It means he is getting vitamin D.
They measure vitamin D in the blood stream and have documented ranges they consider healthy.
My thought is that Trump has a healthy range and pallid, pasty Basement Joe does not.
What is it with Joe? He has made millions in graft and corruption for his brother and son and he cannot afford a sun room? Or maybe he does have a sun room and his wife keeps him in the basement with the COVID excuse so he does not see her other ummmm activities.
She fooled around on her 1st husband, so why not husband #2?
If Trump got it before the debate than Old Joe is toast. The staff is breaking out the hydroxychloroquine for Joe now in a last ditch attempt to save the walking corpse.
poster: do you have any evidence for the charges you make? And you are a CPA? I now seriously doubt it..or if you are, I would not suggest anyone use you since you dismiss fact, evidence, reality
ReplyDelete"The first key finding was that the researchers detected virus in tiny aerosol particles in all cases: influenza, rhinoviruses and coronaviruses. In the case of influenza, they cultured the captured particles and discovered that they were infectious. "
ReplyDeleteMask or no mask you still get the aerosol particles.
Happy COVID Sreason!

ReplyDeleteI found B(e) (Im)Poster's discussion on economics/accounting rather underwhelming 7 to 10 days ago. But he or she has a valid point.
COVID lockdowns have human costs as well as benefits. It’s time to consider both
Now the discussion was in "The Conversation" and not the Blessed New York Times so some people will never consider the pro's and the CON's of a Lockdown.
Never, ever.
You would have a better chance of having a reasoned discussion with a kid going through their terrible two's than a NYT reader.
ReplyDelete"By Tuesday April 28, COVID-19 had killed 84 Australian residents, only a fraction of the 134,000 initially expected."
We l loved our models. It makes us scientists respected and brings in the moolah moolah.
Cost: lives lost to suicide

Are we prepared to do the maths?
So people will never learn enough math. In 2 centuries you will not get them up to a 6th grade level.

No, your posts are just that obviously you, obviously vapid, obviously not reasoned at all by you, but parroted.
Sad thing is the N.A.E.B.C. site gets more traffic than yours and they don't use pictures of naked women splayed out like pieces of meat.
In response, Joe Biden annonced a life long quarantine for himself
