CAIRO - Members of Iran's parliament Tuesday chanted "death to Israel," and they voted to increase the level of uranium enrichment to 20% and to halt U.N. nuclear inspections in reaction to the killing Friday of the country's top nuclear scientist, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh.

At the same time, Arab and Iranian media reported the killings of two more high-level Iranian military and intelligence officials within the past 48 hours. Revolutionary Guard commander Muslim Shahdan was reportedly killed in a drone strike on his vehicle early Sunday at the Iraqi-Syrian border, according to Saudi-owned al-Arabiya TV.

WNU Editor: It is an understatement to say that Iran has a lot of enemies in the Middle East.

  1. Members of Iran's parliament Tuesday chanted "death to Israel,"

Just think about what kind of people chant "death to Israel" or "Death to America"

People who have murder in their heart and whose deeds drip with blood, that's who.

By their words they give Israel has the right to kill them before they kill Israel.

And the world will be better off.

  2. I give the Ayatollah racket 3 years at most. Joe had better be very quick, if he wants to negotiate the regime.

Iran has, so scared its enemies with 4 decades of mass casualty, genocidal death threats, that their enemies are banding together. If they are not working totally in concert in country, it makes little difference.

    People will fear being promoted.

Bahrain, U.A.E., Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Israel are all going to do their bit. Pakistan will take some potshots, but it will be in the border region with Iran.

Iran is lucky that Azerbaijan is looking west instead of south at the moment. It is a mixed blessing. Successful irredentists look for quick and easy victories. Azerbaijan might be tempted to take the mountains in western Iran, where many ethnic Azeris reside.

    * If they should succeed Azerbaijan would not longer be a Russian client. It would be too big and too dangerous.

    * Azerbaijan would look to secure western Iran and so would collude with the Turks to grind the Kurds out of existence.

Kurdish is an Iranian language. The Kurds should make common cause with the Farsi speakers. It is an alternative to a Kurdish state and offers safety. It would also enlarge Iran. Democracy is not working out in Turkey, Syria or Iran, so what alternatives do the Kurds have?

A post Ayatollah Iran should come to some agreement such that the Israelis no longer arm the Azeris.

The Ayatollahs have to succeed or Iran will be carved up like Germany post WW1 and WW2. The Wilsons and Carters for some odd reason will not have any flower words about ethnic borders. They'll be hypocrites. Which in carters vase will SNAFU.
