U.S. Falls Short Of Vaccinating 20 Million People Against Covid-19 By The End OF 2020

 * With only a few days left before the new year, the United States will likely fall short of its goal to vaccinate 20 million Americans by the end of 2020.
 * The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said just more than 11.4 million doses had been distributed but only about 2.1 million had been administered as of the latest figures released Monday.
 * The CDC cited data reporting lags and the pending launch of the federal government’s partnership with pharmacy chains as reasons for the gap between delivered and administered doses.

With only a few days to go, the United States will likely fall short of its goal to vaccinate 20 million Americans by the year’s end as the nation embarks on what will be a historic campaign to inoculate hundreds of millions of people against the coronavirus by the middle of next year.

Two Covid-19 vaccines from Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna have now been given emergency authorization from the Food and Drug Administration, paving the way for the first handful of front-line health-care workers and vulnerable long-term care residents to be inoculated against the virus.

WNU Editor: More than 14m vaccine doses had been distributed in the US, but only 2.1 million people have been vaccinated. So much for the goal of vaccinating 20 million Americans by now. More resources will definitely need to be committed .... Fauci calls for extra resources as US misses Covid vaccination target (The Guardian). My brother who is in the biotech field told me this afternoon that the military should be employed.

  2. The Democrat governors have no interest in vaccinating people.

  3. Trump called for the military to be deployed to do this. Perhaps if the government would get out of his way and follow his lead we could get things done.

  4. After being very vocal on doubting the vaccine (Harris, Pelosi, Cuomo, etal) they almost literally pushed over the elderly to get to the front of the vaccine line.

  5. Not surprised. ANYTHING the government is involved in becomes a clusterfuck to the 10th degree.

  6. Every appearance of a "new" danger seems to have impeccable timing. San Francisco's lockdown has become indefinite making it almost impossible to get your hair done or eat ice cream.

  7. Pelosi has no problem getting ice cream. She is a strategic planner. Looking ahead she calculated how many and how big of freezers she would need incase of lockdowns, earth quakles or nuclear winter.

Her freezers are able to hold a decade's worth of ice cream.

    1. How fortunate we are to have leaders with such foresight. I rest much easier.

  9. The buck ends up in Pelosi's sticky palm greasing it for further legislation. Don't worry the stickiness is not semen, but spilled ice cream. Lot of freezer space; lots of ice cream; lots of pigging out. Why do you think Her gonzangas got so big in the last few years? That ice cream is nothing but fat and sugar.

  11. 5:01, the guy, who lives surrounded by a golf course, blubbers that golf trips are bullshit.

Most of the U.S. Presidents dating back to William Howard Taft have played golf in some capacity, for some reason. Calvin Coolidge played because golf was becoming popular. Lyndon Johnson played golf because he realized it was a great way to court political conversation and favors.

"The U.S. President who played the most golf is actually Woodrow Wilson, who played an estimated, 1,200 rounds of golf while in office from 1913-21"

Wilson is pretty amazing considering he was laid low by strike for 2 years.

    Fact #1: Most president golf.
Fact #2: Most president conduct business while golfing.

That is (This is an Earth to blubberer msg.), when a president is golfing does not mean he is not conducting the president's business.

"Lyndon Johnson played golf because he realized it was a great way to court political conversation and favors."

I think blubberer is envious to see all those people around him, when he looks up from his computer and looks out his window and see business men and others having fun and conducting business knowing that no one will invite him. Blubberer has no skills, so naturally no one invites him to golf. Sheer envy. Plus every one older than 5 can beat blubberer at golf. Sour grapes!

An American president on the golf course enjoying himself is not likely to fly off the handle and do something rash like start a war. Maybe Obama should have played more golf. Libya would still be in one piece.

    Now onto Piglosi.

"House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) showed off her expensive kitchen appliances and massive gourmet ice cream collection during an appearance on a late night show as Americans stand in line at food banks."

Piglosi rubbed Americans faces into the dirt with her lavish lifestyle. Trump ... Trump is just conducting business in a cool, calm atmosphere like many middle and upper class Americans have been doing for 100 years.
