Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has voiced his commitment to shoring up close ties with NATO ally Germany that were strained under the Trump administration, and suggested that the plan to withdraw 12,000 U.S. troops from the country is open to discussion.
In a phone call to his German counterpart, Defence Minister Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer, Austin "expressed his gratitude to Germany for continuing to serve as a great host for U.S. forces, and expressed his desire for a continued dialogue on U.S. force posture in Germany," according to a Pentagon readout of the call released Wednesday.

The Biden administration is now sending the signal that not keeping your defense promises and commitments is OK.

Trump talked up HCQ, because someone briefed him on it and it was positive. So they reflexively had to destroy it.

Consider Germany and the German drawdown. NATO wants the U.S. to remain in Afghanistan. Who in NATO wants this? The Big 4? That would mean Germany among others. The same Gemrany6 that can't or won't meet its defense obligations. The same Germany run by the physically falling apart fat ass Merkel, whose country has an immigration problem, proposed, forced energy blackouts, and a declining military.
The US is going to stay in Germany because of Merkel? A ,lot of the people wanting the US to stay only want the bases there because of the payroll.
General Austin (is he a real general?>) has not calculated whether US soldiers are better off forward deployed or employing a defense in depth (gasbag defense like in the Battle of Berlin). Too far back gives up the river line sf the Order and Vistula. It also gives up the Polish capital.
Austin knows what his stock is doing, but has considered how to defend Poland and everything west of it? I think not. Yeah, Austin the spitting image of a political general or no worth.
Biden, (I mean Harris/Obama the real presidents) will find us a war to divert our attention from a collapsing economy and ourmulti, muti trillion dollar deficit. They will use it to clamp down on american citizens rights and priviledges. Social credit scores, political affiliations, where you live, skin color/race will be most important to them.
