Aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN-68) is headed to the West Coast after Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin over the weekend ordered the ship and its strike group back home after almost eight months deployed, two U.S. officials confirmed to USNI News.
As of Monday morning, the carrier was operating in U.S. 7th Fleet to the west of India, the officials said.
A U.S. Pacific Fleet spokesperson confirmed the strike group was in 7th Fleet but did not provide additional details.

ReplyDeleteMoral is is getting pretty shitty. The Democrats are jacking 20 to 30 thousand national guardsmen hard. Being deployed more than 2 weeks a year fucks with your regular job pretty good. Democrats don't care for one because they do not know. Most of them have not been in the military nor care. But they have their fun with their reconstituted Army of the Potomac.
That is what it is being called, The Army of the Potomac, and it is occupying the District of Columbia.
