Is the virus losing steam or are health measures finally having an effect?

Now that spring is in the air in the Northern Hemisphere, many people are losing patience. They want perspective on when the lockdown will gradually be eased, when they can finally expect to be vaccinated, when the dust will finally settle.

The debate was fueled by alleged WHO statements concerning an imminent end to the coronavirus pandemic. Supposedly, World Health Organization (WHO) Director for Europe Hans Henri Kluge told Danish radio that the pandemic would be "over in a few months."

  1. Journalism is so God-awful in 2021 that in all the "new stories" I have read about the coup in Myanmar, not a single article has given a clear explanation about why the Myanmar military launched a coup-- beyond the military's own explanation that the recent elections were rigged. Nor have I seen any "news stories" explaining if the military's claim is true, false, or partly true. All the "news stories" write about is how the noble protesters are willing to sacrifice themselves to protest against the "militaty junta". But military coups happen for a reason and I don't feel confident in saying the Myanmar military's reason was wrong, in the absence of any real coverage.

  3. I think the people in power, those who stole trillions from you while you were busy following pandemic orders, THOSE people know that the population realizes what it was all about. Money and power.

And those people recognize that if they push it further, we will not wait for the law any longer, but outright murder them.

These demonic ghouls pretending to be humans while everything themselves of the backs of humans. They're scum. Parasites.

And this is the last warning they get.
Try it one more time and it's death.
    That simple.

  4. stop blaming journalism
the military said one thing and the power in place said another. One or the other is right:

The army alleges the recent landslide election win by Ms Suu Kyi's party was marred by fraud. She urged supporters to "protest against the coup".

In a letter written in preparation for her impending detention, she said the military's actions would put the country back under a dictatorship.
