F-35B From The British Aircraft Carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth Is Monitoring The Russian Navy In The Mediterranean

Warzone/The Drive: F-35B From British Carrier Flies Over Russian Forces Training To Sink Enemy Warships

Tu-22M3 bombers and MiG-31K fighters have also been brandishing their anti-ship missiles during the latest round of drills in the Mediterranean.

The Russian naval task force deployed to Syria in recent days appears to have stepped up its drills in the eastern Mediterranean. At the same time, a recent video shows that at least some of the Russian participants have been shadowed by F-35B stealth jets operating from the U.K. Royal Navy aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth that’s conducting combat operations in the region, against ISIS targets. The latest Russian maneuvers come as tensions between Moscow and the United Kingdom remain high, after a Royal Navy destroyer sailed in waters close to Russian-occupied Crimea last week, and as large-scale, U.S.-led maneuvers in the Black Sea kick off today.

I wonder why Great Britain seems to be such an enemy of Russia? And seems to go out of their way to be in Russia's face? They share no common border.

the UK is acting as Washington's vassal that's all. Although they seem unusually eager to do so, which seems pretty humiliating given their recent history as a world power.

The US is UK's ally. in what world would the US getting blind sided, would it help the UK?

The US certainly doesn't look or act like the UK's vassal. While we cannot "know" for certain without inside information, it does seem more likely to me that it is the US who is being blindsided here. Why either country goes put of its way to provoke Russia seems to run contrary to the interests of either country. To refer to the UK as a vassal of America would seem to me to be pretty offensive to Britons.

I meant the UK certainly doesn't look or act like the America's vassal. I apologize for the poor sentence structure above.

Nice way to twist words BE IMPOSTER

A can be B's ally

and

B can be A's ally.

No one said anything about vassals.

Why don't you apologize for being a troll and as pretty worthless one at that?

Caecus suggested that the UK is behaving as America's vassal. Please read all the posts before commenting.

The first sentence of the original post should have read "The UK certainly doesn't look or act like America's vassal." The way it was typed might have been confusing. Therefore I thought it best to err on the side of a clarification and an apology even if it might not be necessary. Such attributes are generally considered to be hallmarks of thoughtful and considerate people. In contrast, ad honmein attacks against me that have no basis contribute nothing of value to the discussion and are by definition trolling. If you have a critique of any of my analysis here, I'm all eyes and time permitting we can discuss it. I might even learn something.
