Does she speak Mandarin? She might have missed a lot of shop talk and gossip. People could not have shown up to work and she would never have known. It is a big building. Of the 4 people who got sick and were hospitalized in October or November did she know them, know of them, had daily contact with the etc.
The CCP might be fine with her talking as she was kept in the dark.
