After Saying He will Take Questions From The Press He Then Immediately Walks Away When Questioned On Afghanistan

Daily Mail: 'I'm not going to answer Afghanistan now': Biden snaps at reporter during visit to FEMA for hurricane briefing after trip to Dover Air Force base to receive bodies of 13 US troops killed in Kabul

* President Biden paid tribute to 13 American troops killed in Kabul on Sunday

* He stood in solemn silence as their bodies return to U.S. soil at Dover, Delaware

* But later he visited FEMA HQ in Washington for a briefing on Hurricane Ida * He turned to reporters: 'I'm not supposed to take any questions, but go ahead'

* When he was asked about Afghanistan, he turned quickly and refused to answer

* It came at the end of an emotional day with warnings of more attacks in Kabul

* U.S. troops are due to depart from Afghanistan on Tuesday

President Joe Biden snapped at a reporter who tried to ask him about security at Kabul airport on Sunday after spending much of the day paying tribute to 13 fallen service members killed in Afghanistan.

He is under intense pressure to defend his handling of the rapid withdrawal of U.S. forces after 20 years of conflict.

And it showed later in the day after returning to Washington, D.C., where he delivered a pep talk to staff at the Federal Emergency Management Agency as Hurricane Ida battered Louisiana.

WNU Editor: The optics of the President acting like this are terrible. This also tells me that his meeting privately with the families at Dover a few hours earlier must have ended badly. The full video clip is below:

  1. What a disaster! But journalist are wrong too: why they didn't ask question about the color of his socks? or the size of his underwear? and more "fundamental" question?

  2. Suppose you were engaged in perception warfare. All you would need is to tell the truth.

  4. I liked CNN's questions on what flavour if ice cream he was having, WHILE they actively suppressed information on the Biden family ahead of the election..

Until CNN is gone, and the other lying, dividing and thieving party outlets, you'll not live freely.
They'll keep talking you into wars and drugs and push it all on you using fear, hiding behind press choir credentials while all they do is push evil on you.

  8. Asshole 11:18,

Usually when a president gives a press conference on anything, the press almost always asks about the other top 3 or 5 other concerns of the day. So it is expected and yes, Biden handled it with ill grace.

  9. He was not giving a news conference on "anything" and so he was right and you, of course, are wrong. Again.

  11. I think biden is not the man for the job with or without the Afghanistan debacle. I'm of the opinion that the military brass dropped the ball also. The tales I read of the equipment left stacked and ready to take reflects on the higher ranking members of the Army, Marines, etc. Not, though, the Coast Guard.
