Cases began exploding shortly after Madd vaccinations began taking place. The state of HI had virtually eradicated the virus then they began mass vaccinating everyone. Now cases are exploding.
Does this positive correlation mean the vaccines are causing the rise? It doesn't but it does suggest the vaccine isn't the panacea we were told it was. Add to this the fact that this rushed through vaccine is very dangerous and continues to have some very nasty side effects for many. God only knows what the mid to long range complications for many will be. I suspect we're going to be spending 10s of billions if not more over the next few decades treating people who develop complications from the vaccine. This problem will likely be compounded by the lack economic productivity these people could've had.
As for the lockdowns, they failed miserably last time. It's insanity to do the same things over and over again expecting different results. Leaders should take lockdowns completely off the table as a potential solution to this problem.
If this is similar to historical pandemics, we'll be out of this by late 2023 at the latest. Furthermore, at this point, there's no evidence we're dealing with anything even close to the "Black Death." Essentially it's WAY to early to panic and force a risky and rushed through vaccine on people.
Making it available to those who want it may be a good idea. Do NOT force an experimental and known to be potentially very dangerous drug on people. I think the Nuremberg Codes have prohibitions against forcing experimental medical treatments on people along wirh steep punishments for those who do so.
Your average person does not know how a cell works. Neither do most scientists. If they did delta would not be a surprise. If they did they would have a cross reference of diseases, drugs and vaccines all of which is approved. Good science writers would be able to explain it all to the public in 3 or 4 pages.
If they had it all n one sock they would be able to explain why one spike protein variant is more infections than another one via physical chemistry. They would also be able to intuit given the genetic code of a protein what are the most likely mutations, why and five their probabilities.
They would be able to explain why and exactly how zinc works inside a cell instead of being fuzzy about it.
These scientist at the CDC are more like engineers than physicists. They rely more on empirical results like engineers and not as much on theory like physicists. Physicists are on the cutting edge or are supposed to be and engineers while learning a lot of theory are kind of like the second string and apply their results. The scientists seem more like engineers than physicists. They seem lost.
