Francesco Sisci, Asia Times: China without an army of friends
China needs allies, people and countries who will stand for its universal values but it's not clear yet what they are
As China celebrated its Army Day on August 1, the children of Sunzi, the strategist of victory without a fight, know there is something better than guns for national defense. Or they ought to know.
China needs friends, people and countries who will stand for China’s universal values, as they stood in the past century for the values of the Soviet Union or the United States.
The USSR narrative was of liberation from capitalist oppression. The American narrative is about freedom and liberty. These values lead to a lot of mistakes but they are part of the quest for freedom. These narratives are not “the truth” but they have a drive, a global appeal that goes beyond the single country.

WNU Editor: China's lack of having committed allies that will stand by its side in a crisis is a problem and weakness that China has had throughout its history.
When I was working in China in the 1980s I told my Chinese hosts that they had no real allies. And the ones who support them do so because they have either been bought off and/or are in their debt. My Chinese hosts at the time did not disagree. And sadly .... 30+ years later .... I can say with confidence that they have made zero progress on this file.
Case in point.
China's closest allies are Russia, Iran, Pakistan, and North Korea. To a lesser extent I would add Myanmar, Venezuela, and Cambodia. If a crisis should explode and a shooting war breaks out between China and the U.S., China's allies will keep their distance. This will not be the case for the U.S.. Most of America's allies will jump in to provide not only tangible military support, but also overwhelming political and economic assistance.

They are ALL in on it.
All are for the great reset.
All of them are ok with churches burning, BECAUSE they see religion as something that needs to be exterminated, so it doesn't compete with a tyranical, fascist state party that demands absolute obedience
China is the model
But they didn't solely invent it or even install it.
Western companies (what we think of western) like google and facebook HELPED the Chinese governement in installing their system and then in turn the Chinese sent their people to facebook and google to work on the censorship and monitoring algos
It's not conspiracy. it's all been documented in the media, e.g. just google "facebook censorship team china" and you will see I tell you the truth
"The Biden Administration's Acceptance Of Nord Stream 2 Will Redefine Europe"
ReplyDelete"It affirms in no uncertain terms that the Biden administration sees Germany as the unequivocal leader of the European Union and Europe more broadly, and that it counts on Berlin’s help with shaping a larger European consensus on China. (That assumption is not likely to come true, considering that the PRC is now Germany’s largest trading partner and that Germany’s business community remains determined to stay fully engaged in the Asian market.) "
Can the US rely on Germany?
I doubt that the US can rely on Germany
ReplyDeleteYou have to understand what's happening in Germany is what's happening in the US... what I mean by that is that anti- American sentiment is artificially created through foreign money and influence and this has been going on for decades(!) in Germany. Media in Germany is as left as the media in the US.. and there's almost no counter voice, despite that the population craves a counter voice. Conservative voices, just like in America, are targeted and banned.
It's a global "phenomenon"... or you could say a long term and coordinated plan to usher in a global system..
Same with German academia... all left and conservative voices are silenced. People are being harassed and intimidated not to speak out
Something very very sinister is going on and it accelerated throug the European union.. since everything moved to brussel, people have no more say.. everything is dictated and if you Express any doubt or concerns about it you're being marginalised or labelled XYZ.. racist, conspiracy theorist and so on.. exactly like in the UK and US
It's a coordinated move and it's accelerating especially since covid.. people getting silenced about the great reset, medical passports, constant surveillance and censorship
If we don't stand up to not only reject all of this AND punish the people who impose such a system on us all, it'll only get worse
Oh and yeah in corporations you cannot speak either anymore if you're conservative. If you're a leftist, a feminist, a transgender, everything is allowed. If you're a dude who's straight.. good luck mate, you have zero rights
I share your analysis 100%. That said, Xi Jinping has put himself in a corner that he cannot get out of.
ReplyDeleteHe has made the conquest of Taiwan so much of a Chinese and personal goal that he has to do it no matter what.
Moreover, Xi is a megalomaniac and is advised by "friends" who are too afraid to contradict their boss for not going to jail.
How can a megalomaniac dictator and advised in the sense that he likes, will not take the risk of winning "on his own"?
I hope I got it all wrong.
