Men boarded flight in China hours after B.C. court drops extradition case against Meng Wanzhou
Canadians Michael Kovrig and Michael Spavor are back on home soil, almost three years after they were first detained in China.
The two men landed in Calgary shortly before 8 a.m. ET Saturday aboard a Royal Canadian Air Force Challenger aircraft.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was at the airport to welcome the two men, who had flown from China along with ambassador Dominic Barton.

WNU Editor: A friend that I trust in China told me that the reason why this dispute was resolved now was because of the Winter Olympics to be hosted by China in four months. The Chinese want a world class event, not an event where nations are protesting China's treatment of detained Canadians.

So....the Chinese respond to such things after all!! Maybe they aren't as different from "western" countries as I thought.
US released her and just arrested another Russian CFO. US must be really desperate for ransom money.
Biden gave in to the hostage policy and on top of that he freed China from worry about the Olympics.

We have to have to remember that every American in China could be an hostage any time China want something.
