Times of Israel: Kamala Harris doesn’t reject US student’s ‘ethnic genocide’ claim against Israel
In class at George Mason University, vice president tells woman who decries American military aid for the Jewish state that ‘your truth should not be suppressed’
US Vice President Kamala Harris did not push back against a university student who accused Israel of “ethnic genocide” during an event Wednesday.
Harris gave a talk about voting rights to a class at George Mason University in Virginia, then took questions from the students, one of whom said “a lot of taxpayer money is allocated for funding the military, whether it’s in backing Saudi Arabia or in Palestine.”

WNU Editor: America's allies are looking at this type of behavior, and you can take this to the bank, they are not comfortable when they see this.
There she is, our VICE PRESIDENT, waiting for Joe to keel over.
ReplyDeleteHarris is Europe’s VP too. They wanted a Biden-Harris win in the worst way.
ReplyDeleteEurope took sides and now about half the American voters don’t care anymore about Europe’s security.
Grow up
ReplyDeleteAll she said was that all voices must be heard in a democracy. I have been at that school and yes there are many pro-Palestinians there. They too have the right to express their views and it is not the VP's role to argue with a voice that opposes the Democratic support just given Israel with funding for Iron Dome. Do you truly believe as those silly tabloids do, that a talk on voting rights, and democracy should close down a student's voice?
"....all voices must be heard in a democracy." This is a very interesting notion and one that I generally share. It does not appear that the leadership class generally shares this notion. After all voices who express skepticism over vaccine mandates are routinely being censored. When one cannot win the argument based upon merit and they have the means to do so, censoring the other side may well be their only real option.
ReplyDeleteAs to how this applies to the Israeli/Arab conflict, the general direction in which the leadership class and the media appear to be headed I suspect very soon it is going to be very difficult for pro-Israel voices to be heard. When this fails, I suspect they will opt for censorship of pro-Israel voices.
It's about time to call out Israel for their war crimes and ethnic genocide.
ReplyDeleteWell we're waiting!
DeleteActually the plo students do not have a voice. They are not voters or citizens of the US.
ReplyDelete5:32: Who the fuck said all voices must be HEARD in a democracy? Feel free to voice whatever crap you want, just don't insist that I listen. Especially when it comes to such idiot bullshit as to accuse Israel of genocide. Obviously you don't understand the implications of the second highest office in the land spouting such drek as "your truth." WTF does that mean? Well, "my truth" is that Kamala Harris is a radical marxist dimwit, and every now and then she opens her cake hole to prove the point.
