NATO was formed to destroy The Soviet Union. That is it's stated purpose. Who is the Harvard graduate who came up with this white paper?

The Parties to this Treaty reaffirm their faith in the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations and their desire to live in peace with all peoples and all governments.

They are determined to safeguard the freedom, common heritage and civilisation of their peoples, founded on the principles of democracy, individual liberty and the rule of law. They seek to promote stability and well-being in the North Atlantic area.
They are resolved to unite their efforts for collective defence and for the preservation of peace and security. They therefore agree to this North Atlantic Treaty

The unstated enemy was the USSR and the Warsaw Pact. Last I checked there is no USSR, no Warsaw Pact, and NATOI owns Warsaw. There is no one day from the Fulda gap to the Rhine. Russia is no mere rump state and is a good stand in for the USSR. That is true or could be fairly argued. Also Russia is not a democracy. One could argue that Britain was not one either from the time of the Magna Carta until the 19th or 20th century.

More to the point can anyone argue that the USA is a democracy (in spirit, because it is a Republic by law). Just how much jeopardy is Jake Sullivan be in due to the Durham investigation. Will he do time? Will he be convicted at all? Will the Beltway see that he has lucrative opportunities after conviction?

People have said Democrats accuse others of what they themselves do. Hillary is a case in point. People have opined that she saw her connections to Russia as problematic for the 2016 election. So she created a dirty tricks group to smear Trump with Russian connections. The Clinton family took $ .5 million for one speech alone from the Russians and liberals are all onboard with the Steale Dossier? Hillary might not be in the presidency or power (?), but many of her and the DNC people are. Jake is a case in point. Jake Sullivan and Ben Rhodes formed National Security Action.

"With Jake Sullivan, he is the co-chair of National Security Action, a political NGO"

So much wrong has been done by Democrat nomenklatura that many conservatives will believe in justice only after we see it done.

To me it seemed Jake Sullivan came out of nowhere. But his work or joint connivance with ben Rhodes show he was working his way up the party ranks for some time.

If Jake Sullivan does not get convicted or if he does and he is a token fall guy, it is further proof that America is not a Democracy.

So Russia is not a Democracy? And? They fear China so they might make a needed ally although one to hold at arm's length.
