Since The Taliban Takeover Of Afghanistan, Opium Prices Have Increased 300%

Update: Getting high: Afghan opium prices soar after Taliban takeover (Euronews)

WNU Editor: The Taliban have promised to wipe out the opium trade. But will they?

blah blah say something rather than dumping shit statement

Opium was fairly well eradicated by the Taliban earlier and then crops came back as America and others entered the fray. America tried but failed and gave up on eradicating the crop. If prices rising then that indicates scarcity and thus Taliban may be slowing down the crop growing. They might though need the money from this crop and so let it come back. That remains to be seen.
